Death Penalty

Bullshit about the remorse thing. True justice is revenge. Our society due to false ideals has gotten away from that. What's worse is it teaches forgiveness. Now there's a concept. Lower yourself before someone who did something to you. That'll show em who's boss.

I've never understood why we feel reformation is necessary. If you have a broken head gasket in your car do do you forgive the gasket and try to piece it back together? No you realize that there are millions of head gaskets and throw the broken one in the trash where it belongs.

And revenge is an instinct for a reason. It's about survival. Instincts are natures way of telling us the way things should be dine. But once again our society has told us that instincts are evil. Humans are merely animals. When we decided to forget that we became lot as a society

At the end of the day if there is to be no death penalty then prison should be a punishment, not like a hotel!! People should fear jail!!!
And as for remorse, I would certainly have no remorse for executing a murderer that was fully aware of and infact planned their crime!!
Some people seem to be saying it's fine for them to kill so long as the killer reforms (which they very rarely do) your saying the victims life is only worth a small percentage of the killers, I dont understand your logic!! it's too late to reform when you've already stolen someone's life!! It's not a mistake when someone stabs someone 15 times in the face, neck and body (back and front) after breaking into their house in the middle of the night!! Killers like that are walking the streets right now! You could have been on a date with one and never know, and that's wrong!!

Soon you are bleeding to death while they all bite off your face and beat on you. The forum is awash with "Hell, yeah! Society is a bitch! He deserved it!"And revenge is an instinct for a reason. Instinct is good. But sometimes it is obsolete.

It still happens all the time. Evolution has just made it a social based instinct instead

You lack adequate compassion, I think. Evil as a caricature is rare, but there is evil in all of us. Our justice system was developed the way it has for good reason. Animals are real. We override our animal with human intelligence. That's a good thing. It's progress above and beyond.
-
Animals do not go to jail. There is no animal justice. Survival of the fittest.

I don't agree with acting on animalistic ideas! We are a society, but a society that is too week on criminals in general! And too harsh on the innocent.
Were more than willing to go to another country and kill saying it's for the greater good, people cheered when bin laden was killed!! But when it comes to murderers in their own country people feel too much compassion and think they have a right live and to change, when they've taken that right from someone else.
A murderer walking the same streets now as their victims did before they were killed is a disgrace!!!!!
-
Why should I have compassion for criminals brown ?
-
Lep. Reformation is more than not doing it again. They must Nevis a valuable citizen. Imo after a crime the standard goes way up.
-
Lol. Sorry about the animal thing. Just started back o. My religious ideology. Thats just mu own thing

Not true. In a lot of cases you have people come out with skills they can use to find jobs and take care of themselves and lead a life away from their past.Mr. Ikslopot wrote:

We do not punish for revenge. We punish for deterrence, and for rehabilitation.
We want revenge... But it's not justice. Justice can never be served when something is taken that can't be returned.
It is the state's job to mitigate emotional or mob justice. It's just as simple as that. We are educated, compassionate animals. Most of us recognize that we go overboard with revenge and hate, and it makes for uneven, unfair, and misguided treatment of our fellow human beings.

It's uneven and unfair that one person can take the life of another and carry on with their life saying it was just a mistake. These murderers are the animalistic ones, plus there's so many differences in law between countries, even states, so which country/state is the fair and just one?? There is no justice!! Were all just sheep!!We do not punish for revenge. We punish for deterrence, and for rehabilitation.

The opposing argument seems very circular!!
What about the countries/states where death penalty is in place?? Do they have it right?? It is their peers that have made death penalty legal afterall!!
-
And I'm sorry for feeling so strongly about something that has directly affected me!!
