  Some people do target shoot in their yards to let it be known that they are armed. Depends on how rural they are. Personally, I have alarm signs and stickers. Some people put NRA stickers on their windows. I worry that advertising my NRA membership may actually encourage a break-in, in order to steal guns. The alarm system signs probably work better.

  Ya the alarm system is probably enough of a deterrent. As for shooting within city limits, that's legal? I know in Canada you can't fire a weapon within city limits.

  Our laws are by state for the most part. I live in a very strict area, and we may shoot on our own private property, wherever we are allowed to brandish a firearm: IE: in a residence, at a range, in a business that we own.

  The fact that we cannot carry a gun in public takes care of shooting in public.

  Will y'all get off this shit of the guns in the united states as long as the second amendment is in place ppl will hav the legal right to purchase guns as long as thy hav a license but that various from sate to state so there it's settled let's drop it this thread is for the victims not a damn flame war over gun contol
