Water is two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. What if someone says, "Well that's not how I choose to think about water." All we can do is appeal to scientific values.
And if he doesn't share those values, the conversation is over. If someone doesn't value evidence, what evidence are you going to provide to prove that they should value it? If someone doesn't value logic, what logical argument could you provide to show the importance of logic?? -

Being on either end of the horseshoe is the same mental illness. “Half the country is stupid, and it’s not my half.” Both sides say it, and it’s true.
Anything more than a quarter off center is the stupid half.
As soon as you replace your own reasoning with political talking points, it’s over. ..And you admit to doing so. Same thing the MAGA folks do.

That simple quality which sprung from The Age of Enlightenment gave us everything we have today.
It pushed religious dogma back into the dirt where it belonged. It gave us science. It gave us the founding fathers of America.
Just because someone says “you’re not logical” doesn’t mean it is so until it is actually proven. But not anymore. Everyone is a genius.

Babye Protections
FTC: Federal Trade Commission: Gutted. The foxes are fully in the henhouse.
All investigations into companies like Amazon along with the guidance statement for consumers as to how to get help… if they’ve been screwed over… have been taken down from the website. And multiple people fired. You know… Those “evil socialist bureaucrats.”
The FTC established over 110 years ago to help protect Americans from deceptive or unfair business and even unfair methods of competition is null and void.
“What’s that you say ma’am? Lead in my toothpaste is affecting your child’s health? So what? We all do it. Quiet or I’ll have you arrested for slander!”
Realistically? There is no one to call now.
The crazy part is that back in the day when the FTC was created, the average Joe cheered because someone was finally there for them.
Today? You’ve got an entire section of America that will be cheering for more lead in their toothpaste.
And you just can’t make this stuff up.

Amen- voter fraud conspiracy, Steele dossier conspiracy- which conspiracy theories are based in truth and which are propaganda fueling an agenda to disenfranchise. Shit on one side is the same shit on the other

Stagger- was the FTC gutted or eliminated entirely? What about their 3 sub commissions/ bureaus for consumer protections? Are you also aware that each state also has their version of both the FTC and consumer protection bureaus? How many bureaucrats do we need looking at Amazon? Most complaints and lawsuits are driven by state lawsuits- they usually become federal oversight when multiple states join in as a class action lawsuit takes place & Congress applies the pressure.

I don’t know. You tell me. America is comprised of roughly 350,000,000 people. Say only 1 million needed help? How many agents would we need for that? But really your question is a distraction from a bigger reality going on here.Stagger- was the FTC gutted or eliminated entirely? What about their 3 sub commissions/ bureaus for consumer protections? This is a point that I support the Repubs. The UNITED states republic democracy. Where the Feds enact laws and policies & the courts determine constitutionality. Where states are free to go above and beyond federal mandates and regulations as long as they are constitutionally upheld. The issue is the states take on the fiscal responsibility for anything above the federal requirements. Politicians have avoided that and issued federal funds in the name of policy grants and initiatives to assist partisan agendas in the states who have gone above and beyond but cannot afford it. Power should be at local and state level with Fed oversight. It should not be dictated to local governments by the Feds. I have a to. Of case in point examples

Thats is the purpose of having Federal Laws.

Well no, that’s not quite correct. Federal laws are mostly there to govern issues that cross state boundaries, really. States have full jurisdiction over “corrupt” sheriffs, and “lynching” is already illegal at every local and state level. It’s called murder.Thats is the purpose of having Federal Laws.
-
So the citizens of Wyoming federal tax dollars should be used for funding California specific mandates that go beyond federal requirements? Such as the 7-9 billion current shortfall of state funds to cover their iteration of Medicaid services that other states don’t provide. Previously funded by the feds by grants, initiatives and covid money. Project roomkey as another example of state mandate that used federal funds for a state specific mandate
-
And feral laws continue to exist to address corruption, murder and civil rights violations - upheld by the Supreme Court and prosecuted in both state and federal court systems. Lynching is illegal & the FBI and DOJ continue to exist. Not sure what your argument is about when referencing that. Corruption exists at every level and laws pertaining to such remain on the books
-
Check out how the Feds and state went after the City of Commerce about a decade ago. Mandated no new homes or apartments and friends and family were the only ones allowed to live there whilst councilmen and mayors took kickbacks for construction, utilities, garbage and other city contracts
-
To say that “corruption” is being handled at the local level is just absurd. There are countless cases around the country where local citizens need the aid of the federal government. That’s why these agencies were created in the first place.
Indeed lynchings are illegal. But did you know a few of them have happened in the last decade?
The FBI? Have you seen what’s going on over there under the new regime? Patel has been ordered by the wannabe mob boss to eliminate the agents who gathered evidence against the criminals who ransacked the capital and attacked police. You know… The ones that were freed in the hopes of putting on Brown shirts in the near future?
But of course… We know you’re not going to call them criminals right?
There’s a real nasty truth underlying the entire MAGA movement that we really need to get to. Dare we say 1930s Germany? Yes.
All this stuff about gutting the government has nothing to do with efficiency at all, my friend. The plan is in plain sight.
-
Why are there so many “new money” legislators in the federal government? It’s because the federal government is so good at policing corruption.
State and local government.. Not just for Republicans.
-
I do call the 1-6 vandals criminals- they broke the law -damaged, injured and some even responsible for murder. Point Blank- it was a crime & prosecution of those who broke the law needs to occur. Lynchings you mentioned have occurred- let’s be blunt murder is illegal- despite laws on the books- they still occur- laws prohibiting murder doesn’t make them disappear- the consequences and punishment serves as the public deterrent. The movement for community rehabilitation and less imprisonment lessens the social deterrent
-
But I suppose it is ok with some for criminals getting slaps on the wrist because they had an absent father or subjected to bullying as a youth, have depression or affected by substance use

Should the rioters be criminally investigated, charged and adjudicated for the mass arsons, theft, property damage that occurred during BLM’s hey days? What about the governors, mayors and congressmen who publicly supported their illegal use violence and destruction and didn’t publicly condemn the illegal actions? A sense of it’s good for me but not for thee- does exist.
-
Is violence used as a final bastion for a group’s protest socially for injustice justifiable or is it just reserved for certain groups or beliefs? The law makes no such distinction. The lawyers and prosecutors add nuance and spin to sway public opinion of justifications- but an illegal protest is still an illegal protest, arson is arson, property damage damage and injury is still property damage and injury

We keep seeing this comparison between BLM and J6. I hereby declare that violence from any protest is unacceptable. However, as for the purpose? BLM were protests because of a horrendous injustice that was not being addressed. All he needed to do was come out and say “what happened here was wrong.” But he didn’t. He gave a wink wink and put more fire under it.
Ask for J6? All we need to point to is the gallows for Pence and the fake electors waiting in the wings. Summoning the mob was as clear as day.

I disagree with, but fully understand the sentiment, the Jan 6 protesters being also outraged at a “horrible injustice”. Perceptions and experiences are different for all people. Truth or fiction is a complete and separate illusion.

That doesn’t change the fact of the protesters believing there was a horrible injustice. Just as far left feel a SCOTUS decision on abortion was a horrible injustice. It doesn’t make it so- but feelings are messy and rarely based on fact

Yesterday, Donnie complained that too many schools had names on them. (What idiocy is he even talking about? Aiming to put his own name in fake gold letters on all of them now?)
And as usual, he was just making stuff up out of his lying mouth and claimed “nobody was in there doing any work.” He said most of them were probably GOLFING. 😂😂😂
Meanwhile… the next day, he’s on the Maracrapo golf scene himself.
Ohhh yeah
Billionaire commerce secretary, Howard Lutnick screamed that if you have any issue for not receiving your Social Security check on time… you’re probably engaged in fraud and crimes!
“Sorry grandma. I can’t get social security on the phone.
Have you been using your check to buy crack or something?Remember Folks: These psychotic oligarchs could care less about you. See the documentary about that poor Scottish woman where they cut her water off for Trump‘s ugly golf course.
Every accusation is always an admission with this regime.
And you just can’t make this stuff up.

Goin’ bonkers again.
Yesterday, was two legs bad. Now… it’s two legs good.
For more than a decade, Sean Hannity - the guy filled with red faced rage over electric vehicles because “real men didn’t drive those things”… has bought a Tesla. Seems he’s coming out of the closet.
The Bromance between Muskrat and Hannity is so electrifying, that its even got Miss Lindsay Graham blushing.
“Oh my! Sean went and did whaat?! I ain’t gonna lie me none. South African Muskrats are kinda cute.”
Up next? Teslas loaded with Starbucks for the WH? Tesla NASCAR? Stay tuned.
Because you just can’t make this stuff up.
Addendum: Been there, done that? 94% of Germans will not buy a Tesla. Seems Germans are defying America’s red, white and black wearing Proud Boys?
Oh well… Back to drooling over vintage clips of Uncle Adolf staring into the eyes of young brown shirt boys.
Jungian Shadows emerging folks.
