Now that is just blatant misinformation. Children are just as likely to catch it. So far they seem far less likely to die from it, but several have died from it. You keep ignoring my posts about that.Mickey McFly wrote:
No. Has nothing to be with me being right. Has to do with a governor intentionally misleading millions of mothers across the country when in reality it isn’t a concern.℣į₭ϊ₦Ǥ👹 wrote:

Wtf?There are always positive things. For instance- long after this pandemic I am willing to guess that when I go grocery shopping I will no longer have that stanky Neanderthal all up on my back while waiting in line. I will no longer have to pull out my schizophrenic loud and angry voice and fart to get his rank ass to back th F up.

Smile once in a while, laugh out loud. Lighten up a bit.
“Humor is a great tool to use in a crisis that helps us look at that situation in a positive way that will us deal with the crisis. Humor lightens one’s burdens, inspires hopes, and keeps you grounded, focused and alert. With so much power to heal and renew, the ability to laugh easily and frequently is a tremendous resource in confronting any crisis situation.”

I think it’s much easier in hind sight to know exactly what should have been done in the beginning. “Draconian” measures. Of course, we didn’t know exactly what to expect... But I think it would have been better to completely disrupt us all for what now seems like a very short 2 weeks, than this measured, half-ass, drag-it-out for 6 months bullshit we did instead. But, you know... There are always those that drag us back as a society, denying the truth and demanding that we don’t affect the economy one little bit.. Heh heh... Seems like once again the net result of the status quo leaves us worse off than we would have been with just a little bit of over-precaution.

The uk has handled this like a randin seasonal flu which is why the numbers are climbing. Lets let any cunt fly in unchecked and tell them to isolate AFTER spending 5 hours on public transport

“In more awful news the overall declining European numbers in Italy, Spain...”.
Here we are in our third week of a lockdown.
The respected confinement measures adopted have denied the virus of a higher tally of,these much mentioned figures of chalked up numbers.
Little in the cavalier prelections made in this thread reflect on the misery of those who are grieving loved ones.
For me,images come unbidden as I write; the set of teeth in a crooked shy smile,a blonde head sticking out of an orange Seat Panda that would jokingly deprecate targeted individuals with the arm punching the air for emphasis, the tears of a student in an online class as he told me of his very sick father in hospital, the thought of a friend who had left her father off at the hospital with his bag of toiletries and pyjamas not knowing it would be the last time she would see him.So many more there are.Their absence will be felt all the more keener when things return to some semblance of normality. -
The effects of this virus have been devastating but could be much worse if not dealt with or stifled of its quarry.
We struggle to keep afloat two concerns but that pales in comparison to the profound loss of many -
Hey vish my old buddy i hope you and the family are safe and well

I’m sharing the following link for info purposes (not doom & gloom). The projections look pretty good for some states (like Texas). They also go into great detail about how they’ve arrived at these projections. They are also going to publish some technical appendices tomorrow.
“State-by-state forecast shows projected number of deaths in each state and nationwide, measuring the impact on health systems: hospital beds, ICU bed shortages, and ventilators needed. COVID-19 forecasting model updated in real-time created by Dr. Christopher Murray and researchers in Washington state and used by the US Government.”
COVID-19 projections assuming full social distancing through May 2020
