Also, when has there ever been a situation where a gun walks into a bank and robs them for money? Ever heard of a walking and shooting gun? I say instead of taking away certain size guns, why not check the mentality of the gun owner/buyer or whatever.
Besides, do criminals casually buy guns from shops? Besides the black market.

Unless the fourth amendment is ignored no mere "document" permits the government to enter your house. Only a sworn warrant establishing probable cause a crime has occurred and evidence of that crime is likely to be found in the place to be searched, can get the government into your house.
Actions, similar to the circumstances you described above are what led to the American Revolution, and ultimately the "Bill of Rights."

It's not about someone taking our "toys" it's about the fact that taking our "toys" is a violation of the constitution whether our "toys" are ar-15s or a normal hunting rifle all guns are protected by the constitution
