It simply comes down to this. Your rights end where another's begin. If you are infringing on someone elses's right then your right is no longer valid.💚Gяз̶͠з̕η̕Μα̴η̨ wrote:
That shitty name did over 4 billion in revenue last year. They are a privately held company, and don'tanswer to any shareholders. They have the right to say whatever they want, when they want, and donate money to whoever they want. I can assure you chic fil-a has enjoyed the free advertisement, all because the CEO exercised his right to freedom of speech. Chic fil-a is the winner in all of this, and they arent going away. Deal with it!!Hahaha chick fil a? What a shitty name. What does that even mean?

They don't have religion.Add: KOZY wrote:
So my theory is less true than anyone else's theory? None are proven. :) I have been without god and have come back. Our religion is different from all others at the core. Our god is trying to give us a free gift, no strings attached.Go read about hadza culture. It's outside of your god created box of chicken. Might give you insight into what life is really like without the constraints of a fictional character made up through philosophical masturbation.

God created a perfect world, then man allowed sin to corrupt it. He is everywhere, but he can't help those who don't let him. We chose pain and suffering, and he lets us make our choices. That is why he calls his followers to help them. He created Jesus to open the door for a perfect world again, opened by accepting a free gift. He has a plan and he says those who bear this life and trust him will be honored. He does love us.glman wrote:
Then how come he doesn't do anything about the starving kids in third world countries? Why does he call Jews the chosen people, and then do nothing when they go through the Holocaust and Spanish inquisition?Hebrew Hitman wrote:
Again. God can do whatever he wants :) -

That's the problem, everytime someone posts a topic on a specific matter everyone flys off the subject,If you feel the need to post a sensitive topic on Turf Wars I think it would be better to do it in Palringo. We both have scientific theories to debate, so please don't act like you have any more proof than me. Can we get back to chickfila now?
Half these people have no idea WTF your talking about. It's pretty sad! Enjoy!👍 -

If you don't see the flaws in this senario, I'm sorry, you are not thinking objectively.
If God created the perfect "world", there would be no sin, no tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and no Jesus torture on our behalf.
We are god's pets in your view. When you bring home a kitten, it cannot sin. You do not put out the kibbles of good and evil, and then kill your oldest boy if the kitten eats it.
If we are created in God's image, these senarios should hold true, and they are ridiculous.

Thoughts, yes. As in if you are lusting or dwelling on something like that. That's a sin regardless of sexual preference. I don't believe simply feeling attracted to someone of the same sex instead of the opposite sex is a sin though. It's what is done with the attraction that can make it a sin. That is my understanding of the issue from the Bible.Trauger Jogger wrote:
Meh. I think thoughts are also a sin. As a Christian, the bible says thinking something is the same as doing it. I would love to talk about that (simetime)Ghetto Monstazz wrote:
People seem to misinterpret this too much. Being gay isn't a sin, acting on those gay thoughts (gay sex) is a sin, since it is technically adultery.im christian, and as a christian, i think your an idiot. being gay is not a sin.

The book "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis is very good for this question, and I think it is largely geared towards non-Christians.Tonytlj add:TLJ wrote:
If there is no god, where does right and wrong come from?I was raised in a very religious family. Half of them are Catholic, the other half are Methodists. I decided long ago that I didn't believe in god, only right or wrong. I believe that hurting, oppressing, or defaming people based on different beliefs are wrong. I have no problem with their opinions. But by funding anti-gay groups, he's contributing to the oppression of a harmless subculture simply for not agreeing with his beliefs, and I think that's wrong. So I don't support it by giving him my business. He can keep doing what he wants, but he's not using my money to do it.

Btw, one last thing. God wanted us to have freewill, not to be his robots. There was no sin, until man chose to allow it in. Thanks for the convo and questions. If you wish we can continue in pm. (oh an I noticed another error in what I wrote, god didn't create Jesus, Jesus and god are one and have existed.glman wrote:
