anyone see this? pretty tragic event, and whoever did the shooting must of been a pretty low life, 14 killed, and 50 injured
-
someone through gasbombs first and then shot, witnesses thought it was just a publicity stunt, as it was batman
-
Saw it. Crazy shit
-
Yeah I heard about that. Apparently the gunman also had some explosives at a apartment near there. Shit just gets crazier everyday
-
Amazing how they use the same methods in the new film. Some sick bastards out there these days
-
Just watched footage on bbc, at least they caught them.
-
Just remember, guns do not kill people. Bullets kill people.
-
The town is aurora Colorado apparently during the midnight showing a gunman walked into the ant theatre
-
*9th theatre and began shooting randomly at movie goers some of the bullets penetrated the wall and injured people in the 8th theatre currently 14 are dead and 50 injured with two in critical condition 4 died at the hospital while 10 died in the initial shooting
-
The gunman told police forces after being captured that there were explosives located at his north aurora home his name has not yet been released and he has admitted to being the gunman in the shooting there is a suspected second gunman
-
Reports from eye witnesses say that the man was wearing a gas mask to hide his identity the reason for the shooting is currently unknown
-
I used to live pretty close to there. Even went to that theater a time or two. It's too bad there wasn't a concealed carry holder or two in the theater. This could have ended very differently.

Yah the reason for the large amount of dead and injured is due to the fact that people though it was because of the movie only people near the shooter saw himI used to live pretty close to there. Video showing inside of theater -
The shooter entered through the theaters back door of the theatre and release some sort of gas possibly a smoke bomb the shooting happened during the 1st shooting scene of the movie helping disguise the gunfire

So the one holding the weapon is of no guilt?Just remember, guns do not kill people. Bullets kill people.

The dead count is now suspected to be between 14 and 12
-
Then he must of seen the movie before everyone else to plan it. Possibly an employee of the producers with a grudge?

He's saying that the gun doesnt kill I think he meant it's the person holding it🔫₫εâ₫♨pôôι💀 wrote:

Unless he was shooting a .22 or something suppressed, a real gun shot is going to be noticeably louder than then the theater speakers. The shooter entered through the theaters back door of the theatre and release some sort of gas possibly a smoke bomb the shooting happened during the 1st shooting scene of the movie helping disguise the gunfire
Incredibly shocking and sad. It's a true tragedy.

Rifles are quite a bit louder than movies and create muzzle flashes. he was firing a rifle. I'd tell the difference.mojopilot wrote:

This is why I am always armed, even at the movies.
-
50 injured, 14 dead, reports of 20-30 or so shots going off at a time. That tells me he probably had an ar or ak. Have you ever heard a .223?
Anyone who shoots at all would instantly know the difference between that and movie sounds.
I still think that if a few people in the theater were carrying, this would have ended differently. It wouldn't be pretty, but there might be less casualties.

One of the Denver news channels ran an advert for shotguns on there website over the news coverage of the shooting.
-
This is what evil looks like. These "active harmer/shooter" scenarios are becoming more and more common, and there will be more in the future. It's too bad there was no off duty law enforcement or CCW holders in the theatre. I live and work in this area - please pray for the victims.
