Spanking, yes... Slapping or hitting sounds bad.My mom has slapped me a few times. Most of the times I deserved it, some other times, she just needed to chill out. She makes small things a very big deal sometimes.
Any ways I think slapping or hitting (not beating) your kids can get them to listen to you and make them stop arguing (that's usually the reason my mom slaps me) But beating or hitting ur kids multiple times is just wrong in my opinion. What do you think? -
Adding on to my previous post:
(this is personal experience) it just makes kids more rebellious. Let me tell the tale of my last few spankings. This takes time from being 10-11. I was arguing with my dad about how he tries to run my life. He decides a spanking is in order. Now, up to this time, I would get spanked about 10 times or more a year. So he bends me over the bed, pants down. But then my brother needed to tell him something. In the time my bro was talking to him, I decided, "you know what? No. Not gonna shake in fear, not gonna cry, I'm gonna take it."
So he starts wailing on my butt, and I just lay there. He finishes after about the 10th one, and says "you learned your lesson"
I go "you learned yours?" (I don't want to say hate, but I strongly disliked my dad my whole life) he starts wailing again, and I start laughing. So he hits harder, I laugh harder.he just gets frustrated and stops. I just walk away laughing. Now he just grounds me. Which I understand. -
Spanking a kid is a lot like perma-banning Belial. Nick gave him 10 chances, yet he still acted like an idiot. So nick spanked him. If a kid doesn't obey the first few times, give em a spanking.

Dear parents. Don't hit your kids. That's wrong. But should you feel the need to physically express your parenting frustration then TAN THAT ASS. My daddy raised me with a belt in one hand, and a pat on the back with the other. For all the times he said "boy, one day you'll thank me", thanks pops!
