With a violent past. First person to ever get tased by the Miami police department none the less.Do you seriously believe that? Productive, healthy citizen? He was 31, no job, no car, drug abuser and I believe he lived with his parents. What makes you think that's gonna change?
We aren't talking about a 12 year old who stole a candy bar.

Lmao!! Welcome back dramabot!😜 I say we should have saved crazy mcfaceEater...let belial pay for his rehabilitation/court costs/medical bills....and so on. Don't twist my words. Someone who is 31 without a job, without a car, abuses drugs and still lives with their parents is not going to be a productive member of society after getting rehabbed for chewing on another mans face. You make it seem so black and white. Unfortunately, it's not that way, procedures or not.ffmedic4143 wrote:

I get it. It was just hoping for a better outcome. A UK-style thumping. Not, "Get off!" pop, growl, pop, pop, pop pop pop. CLEAR!

and you know this how? Lots of people fall on bad times. Lose their job lose everything. Have to move back with their parents and maybe turn to drugs then get it all together and turn it all around. It's not uncommon👿Belial wrote:

You can't grow away a life just because it was beaten up a little

His life wasn't thrown away because it was beaten up a little. The man was killing another man. Plain and simple. The police officer had to protect himself and the victim. I can see where you're coming from when saying you wish the police officer had acted more heroically, but he is only human. Especially considering it took 6 people to subdue another bath salts user, I don't see many other possible outcomes of this situation.

Maybe he did. But putting the life of another innocent civilian AND a police officer to give a (near) murderer a second chance isn't worth it.Tonytlj add:TLJ wrote:

Second chance? He already had assault charges for attacking his own mother!

What about the victim? Did he deserve to have his face eaten? He'll be horribly disfigured for the rest of his life. He's lucky to be alive at all. Not much of a life left. Only one eye, he'll have respiratory issues, trouble eating. It's not like being homeless is hard enough. If the cop hadn't done what he did, the homeless man would be dead instead. What gives that drug addict more of a right to live than that homeless man? The homeless man wasn't hurting anybody.

Lol B. let's bring back Manson, Gein, Bundy, Dahmer, Gacy, and face eating guy, put you all in a room. Than see if they put as much effort as you do to prove the value of a life.

I'm not saying under different circumstances he shouldn't get a second chance, but to put two more lives in mortal danger to attempt to give another man a second chance is foolish, whether he was a murderer or a candy shop owner.
-
Do you really think the cop should have just let the victim die, b? The cop was faced with a decision. He had to choose either to kill the assailant, or let the victim die. He chose to save the victim. That's always the right choice.
