Well, God did a fantastic job there didn't he? *rolls eyes*

Some guy named Colton saw God, but I'm pretty sure he was dead for a short while and came back to life. Read "Heaven is for Real"First off, the Bible clearly says "No man can see God and live" and those who DID saw him in an indirect way. And there are MANY ways to prove God exists. The second law of thermodynamics for instance. But to answer the original question, YES, I have already prayed for the person in question. Praying for guidance. 👍

I want to change as many people as I possibly can to turn to God. Though I want to, I cannot force it on anyone. There's a difference between knowing and believing. Knowing is when you know it's there, and you choose not to follow it, or simply set it aside. Believing is when you know it's there 100%, not 99%. You have it set in your heart that it is in fact true and you want everyone to know the truth. I'm a believer, and I want everyone else to know the truth. Being Christian doesn't make me weird just because I'm different from you. If you've got problems because you want to believe but you're scared of what your friends and or family will think of you, PM me. I'm serious. I could care less with what all of you think of me. It is what it is. I don't mean to cause debate but if you think I'm wrong talk to me...really!

I turned to religion on a couple of occasions and was always turned away, the vatican are some of the richest people on the planet, sorry when your popes and priests start following their own bible maybe I will give a damn, till then I believe in God, I border closer on the Quaker view of belief, I have never understood churches, why must we pray in a church.... God didn't build the churches...he built the planet...so why am I considered less of a follower cos I'd rather pray on my own time than on yours?
Me and God have a love hate relationship, sometimes his punishing me with karma, sometimes I'm punishing him with doing bad, but I have long chats with him in my head sometimes lol

There is something called punctuation. We English speakers use it for a reason. But saying that I also believe in evolution, here's my two reasons why 1) god didn't build the world in 7 days, seriously time didn't exist then, gods minute can be our century. Everything he made could have evolved in that time. 2) how did he know what things looked like he didn't he just made things they didn't necessarily look anything like what we have today (evolution) so yeah erm thank you come again!
Also, God did make the earth in seven days. However, we are not sure how long those seven days lasted. And the likelihood that everything, let alone one thing, would have drastically changed is absurd. Why would God make something just to watch it change? That's pointless.

Here is the reason that I believe in God. I'm not sure of all of the Christian ideals, but I am Christian an I believe in god.
My mom knew a lady in her hometown. The lady had a son. He was about thirty, happily married, had 2 or 3 kids. One day, his wife found him dead. He had a note explaining why. He was raped and sexually harassed as a teenager, and it haunted him so much he ended his own life. The elder lady was devastated, not to mention his wife and kids. His mother, worried about him, prayed to God to send her a sign, any sign, that he was okay and in heaven. She went a while without an answer. Eventually, mid winter, one of her daughters told her to go out to their cabin, to try and get better. Of course, the old lady was still praying at that time. So, she went out to the cabin and when she arrived, there was a single bloomed flower protruding from at least 2 feet of snow. That was her sign. -

Now, you don't have to pray in a church. God never said you have to. All you have to do is remember the Sabbath day by keeping it Holy. People attend church out of following the third commandment and tradition.
Also, if you were to check into the Reformation and Protestant religions such as Lutheranism, you'd realize that they tend to follow the bible more closely in that you don't have to do good works to get to heaven, all you need is faith, you never pray to Saints or the Pope.
Chatting is good to do with God. Praying is supposed to be a personal conversation with God, a little one-on-one time. But never forget to place Him above everything. He and He alone is God, and Jesus is our Savior.

Also, the Holy Communion isn't really a physical transformation/transfiguration. The bread doesn't actually become flesh, and the wine doesn't actually become blood. Nor do we pray/worship them as such. It is a spiritual transformation that takes place inside the body once the holy words are said and the two are consumed.
P.s. I'm speaking from the Lutheran point of view.

Does anyone else know that most everyone has broken the 10 commandments?
-
1.If you've idolized someone, you've broken the, have no false idols.
2. If you've #1ed, you've also broken the, no other God's before me, because you've given high praise to them.
3. If you've ever said "God dang it" you've used his name in vain.
4. If you've done any work on the Sabath.
5. If you've disobeyed parents, you've not honored your parents. -
6. If you've insulted someone, you have murdered them with words.
7. If you've ever looked at the opposite gender like, "He/she looks cute/hot/sexy/handsome," you've committed adultery.
8.Taking something without asking first is stealing, unless they know.
9.If you've insulted someone, you've insulted you're neighbor on Earth.
10.If you've wanted something someone else has, you've coveted you're neighbor. -

You can find at least most of this in the Bible somewhere.

You need to relax. You can do most of these and still be a good person. I think your taking them a bit to serious.

Amen to that. I'm fifteen, and it's even worse since I was thirteen. I've questioned my faith multiple times before. Faith is the only reason there are Christians. There is no real way to prove God is real.At 13 religion is a tricky thing for me I haven't made up my mind, I do not want to say I am an atheist yet I feel odd talking to something that I can't see when I pray, life is fucked up at puberty stages!!!

I don't believe in god but do believe in the power of positive thought and support. I don't care what you call it. If believing in something in a time of need gives you the strength to fight on then please by all means go for it.

Well, unfortunately, I'm never like this in public. It's fairly shameful. I'm usually the kid in the corner who doesn't talk to anybody.
