Everyone sins. Besides, there are no "little sins" or "big sins". All sins are the same in God's eyes. Those people you know who go out on the weekend and commit sins are probably just pretending to be Christian. America was made under Christianity, and it is the dominant religion here. Therefore, people feel pressure to be Christian to blend in and be like everyone else, or maybe impress someone.glman wrote:
Of course it is. I know a lot of Christians who go out Friday and Saturday night and sin more than anyone i know and i dont just mean little sins either, then go to church on Sunday and they are good Christians. Does that make them better and more acceptable than say someone who never committed a sin in his life who doesn't believe in Jesus?Add: OLSEN wrote:

Then I would argue either they aren't truly saved or if they're repentant and work toward not sinning they can. Only God knows the heart, humans lie, but God never does. There are no "little sins" God is holy, he can't be around sin. Jesus covers our sin with his perfect life. When I became a Christian all my sins past and future died on the cross. Jesus was a real person. I walk by faith and not by sight. I will tell you that the most amazing thing ever is the way I am changed through salvation. It's awesome.glman wrote:

That's because you aren't informed or spiritually discerning when faced with biblical theological exigesis. Abraham was faced with pagan gods all his life, Yahewh needed Abraham to see that He would provide a offering (perfect shadow of Christ in the OT). It was faith not works. I see no contrdiction when dealing with judgement and the Holyness of His character. You sir do not know theology, you will quote these passages out of their context and perceive them in your "atheism". If you actually desire to know what these passages mean then I invite you to a bible study on paltalk.God is cruel, unmerciful, destructive, and ferocious
Jer 13:14/ Deut 7:16/ 1 Sam 15:2,3/ 1 Sam 6:19God is kind, merciful, and good
James 5:11/ Lam 3:33/ 1 Chron 16:34/ Ezek 18:32/ Ps 145:9Another contradiction....
I'm Buddhist, not atheist. -

Right let's get this over with publicly this time. I have told you three times in the past on pal.
I'm sorry I haven't read all of the tipitaka. I'm sorry I can't afford all 40 different volumes of it. It isn't as wide spread and cheap as your bible. It costs hundreds of pounds in total. I have only read 1 volume and that was online.
I'm sorry that my library is Christian and refuses to stock it.
I'm sorry my school is Christian and refuses to teach me more.
I'm sorry that all I have to learn from is what I can find on the Internet. Now stop mocking me and my faith. I've been nothing but nice in this thread.

₳ʉ₲ʉṣϮḭ₦ê (₳ⓑ€), you are easily and without a doubt the most narrow minded person that I have ever seen, and I still remember Killing Man, so that is a very impressive feat.

Wow, that's all wrong.Back to who was Jesus.
In my opinion, Jesus was the first born son of Mary, queen of the Jews and direct descendant of King David, Moses, etc. and Joseph her husband.
It was called a virgin birth because it was her first child not because it was immaculate.
He grew up to be a revolutionary leader trying to overthrow the Roman Empire.
When he was captured it was put to the Jewish people they could save Jesus or his son Barabus. The Jewish people chose the son and heir to the Jewish throne.

Everyone is narrowminded to an extent. The accusation isnt given any example. Asking questions that are completely logical doesn't make a person "narrowminded" just the opposite. Thanks though. Want to be narrowminded about the historical accounts of Jesus some more? -

When I see about 30 comments in obsessive compulsive commentary given by you daily against God and christianity (and my name) why is it that you are now the victim? If you want to critize some ones faith at least know it accurately as a whole. My questions are general questions where I do not understand your religion.
And the "anti-Christ" websites are actually a report I found on the Internet stating the strengths of christanity and the weaknesses of christanity.
I found it ages ago and saved it to my documents. I quote it sometimes.I do not seek pity. But for you to understand that I have not read all of the tipitaka so cannot answer all of your questions. I wish for you not fo judge my religion just because I am not fully enlightened.
