Do you know Che Guevara?

I'm just wondering how many people out there know che guevara?
I have to be honest I really didn't know him until I visited Cuba this past week.
Now that I know who he is and what he did and stood up for a great man who helped many from around the world.

Being in the Tshirts deffinately does make him a great man though. Those are awesome shirts

Big fan of golf.
-
Yes, I know him personally. We get pancakes every other Thursday.
-
I know enough about this man to know he isn't the hero, martyr he is made out to be.
-
If I had a cool beret and a sweet mouth stache, and died for extremist causes, I could be a fashion statement too.

Belial beat me to it but there is nothing about this man to be romanticized. I think you are in love with the false portrayal of what he made it to be as if he is a Cuban Robin Hood when in fact he was the sheriff

Right now I'm a patrol cap rearing, pistol and flashlight brandishing, clean shaven babyface getting ready to go ghost hunting. I mean, what else am I supposed to do? Write tickets? I think not!Tweek wrote:

BTW, thank you tax payers for paying me to ghost hunt. Your money is appreciated by me, my family, and the ghosts who I won't find.

Agreed. I don't judge a man by what he says. I judge him by his actions. And Che's actions were not heroic at allBorderFox~>java wrote:

Seriously, when I wear my Che shirt, skinny jeans, and adidas shell toes with red stripes, you know that shit just got serious. Too damn hip.

I know a bunch about the man.
Son of affluent parents. A medical student. Preferred to use Leica 35mm cameras. Was extremely charismatic. Marxist.
Shot people in the head, and wrote about it in his diary clinically and without emotion.
Marched a tiny column of men across Cuba to meet up in Havana and take over.
Executed more people without trial.
Africa was a flop, so....
Went on to Bolivia to start all over again. Killed by Bolivian police while in custody.
The guy was a well-intentioned murderer. That about sums it up.

Yup dam CIA killed him as they have many other great leaders
-
Yeah that sounds pretty well informed but imma reserve my opinion of him, coz im not american, no offense u guys have no toleration for anything outside the box ( on average)
-
How sad. You just throw a blanket statement without knowing the facts. My mother well step mom escaped Cuba. Trust me my opinion is not based on some wiki page nor has to do with where I was born.
