Longevity due to a diet of back-yard vegetables, and/or due to state controlled information. Don't strain yourself thinking about the real cause, now.Could it be that they have "one of" the highest longevity rates in 3rd world Latin America because they can't afford obesity?
We get it. You don't believe in a combination of basic human rights and a constitutional democracy of free individuals.
Please move to the dictatorship of your choice so that you may find true happiness.

Ah yes, it all makes sense:
Sustainability! Che->Communism->Sustainability... Wait, what's wrong with this picture? Oh yeah, most of these highly-advanced socialist/communist (And hey, what communist state isn't just totally leading all fields of science?) states are totally converted to solar and geothermal energy sources and are generally just so totally in harmony with Gaia that it just makes my heart sing with joy! Clearly, their shit is indeed wired so tight that no one even knows they have found the secret to saving the planet! You just can't have that kind of information available to the public... Oh wait, it's probably just being suppressed by all forms of media.
Oh no -- I'm just so programmed I can't possibly even think for myself anymore! Whatever will I do???
-
Aside from whacking some substantial fraction of the population which "your regime" has determined to be oxygen thieves, what is your master plan for sustainability? Would I have to join the hive-mind to understand it all?
Looks like I'm screwed anyway -- apparently all pre-programmed Americans seem marked for death in your happy little system due to their inferior intellect WRT sustainability... Never mind.

Human society is not "sustainable". Which sustainable society do you live in? Where is a sustainable society?I haven't cheered on anyone. I am saying that your system doesn't work. A system which is sustainable does. People who are programmed to not understand long-term sustainability (I.e most Americans) would have no place in a sustainable system, they have been brought up to expect a lifestyle and opportunities that are not sustainable, and would never let it be taken away from them.
It doesn't exist. You do your best with what you have.
This is a temporary climate lull. We have limited energy, a solar system full of missiles, and a temporary star. Our best bet is to stop reproducing.
So I guess you'd prefer China then.

If any of you'll actually learnt the whole unbiased story.
You'll would see that in a man like Che, there was great compassion but at the same time great frustration and anger.
He lived in a time and under conditions that are completely different from what we know today. And that is one of the reasons it's hard to fully grasp who he was and why he did what he did.
Long story short, there are times and achievements in Che's life that should be honored and kept alive.
And there are many things he did, that in retro spect we know to be wrong.....

Oh no! People should have to work for a living? Geez, where are the good old days where people didn't have jobs; they only had to find a cave, fresh drinking water, & kill a big buffalo?Brown🎵Note😲 wrote:
You are no less controlled than those in totalitarian states are. Certainly you can shout, dance, speak against the government. But you will never be free, you will always live under someone else. If you don't follow the rules of your system (ie get a job, pay your mortgage) you effectively die. All you do is devote your life and time working towards making someone else financially more valuable, an eating from the scraps of the system. Why don't we let the turfwars players living under totalitarian regimes tell us how much better it is?
Wait...

I didn't suggest they are the same. I suggested that when people go to jail for political opposition, you can't always believe what the people say or do is genuine.
They pretend to go along for their own safety.
It's a simple, easily confirmed concept. There are plenty of refugees around, and they make no secret of this fact.

Saying that Che was a great man is like saying that Hitler and Stalin were great men. Che murdered and tortured thousands of innocent people in the march for more power. The idea that he was a man of the people is complete myth. He was a power hungry murderer who had no intent other than to gain fame and control at the expense of the people.

I have to say there are lots of comments on this thread which is good my purpose was to see if anyone knew who he was. I am no expert by far I visited Cuba and spoke with some guide who explain to me what he did his part in Cuba unbiased coming from a educated cubian of history back ground. I just found it very interesting also I find most response from others are not coming from around the world but mainly the united states and Canada so offcourse the feedback and comparision will be no doubt that he's a bad guy and so is all others except America and her allies which are always good. No offense to my friends on the us or Canada I hope my message is clear, sometimes on the chat it can come out wrong

I have a super sweet Che hat that I refuse to wear. It was a gift from my aunt after she visited Cuba. It was actually made there so the workmanship is shoty at best, but I keep it around as a reminder that slave labor by kids is higher quality than slave labor by adults. Thank you Nike.
