To find out your attack streangth go home screen-> marketEach person uses 1 weapon & 1 piece of armor per mob member. The # of mob & how they are equipped determines your attack & defense. You must have more attack then someone's defense to win. There is also a random factor involved, so only nick knows the exact formula.

You must have a TURF present for 24 hours first. You cannot simply be physically nearby without a turf.Second:
(turf name) has been present for greater than 24 hours.
Your turf has to be in your possession for 24 hours before you can use it to cap another turf. This means you can not use to cap another turf until 24 hours after building, or if it is a turf you captured, 24 hours after capping.
There is no time restriction on being capped, however. New turf can be capped as soon as it is built.

But then why does it say on a capped turf, "capped from a turf" would that not imply there are other ways to cap a turf?
-
If there are no turfs near enough to me to cap, and the ones that are sorta close are influence 80+ (I'm at 20), is there any way for me to really expand?

Don't you read nick's threads? It's to help keep people from reporting others for spoofing when they didn't spoof. There are no other ways to cap.But then why does it say on a capped turf, "capped from a turf" would that not imply there are other ways to cap a turf?

If a turf is capped, does ur total available turfs decrease or do u merely lose the turf

If I am at my turf limit prior to capping, can I move the capped turf after the cap. I would be one over my turf limit after the cap and am not sure about moving turf if over the limit.

No. To plant a new turf you have to be 1 UNDER limit (for example: 21/22).If I am at my turf limit prior to capping, can I move the capped turf after the cap. I would be one over my turf limit after the cap and am not sure about moving turf if over the limit.

For extremely small & low level players (for example level 1 with 1 influence), you cannot get close enough to cap them. It doesn't matter if you are covering their turf, you still won't be "close enough." This is a protection thing. If they are inactive, short of possibly resetting, you will never be able to cap them.

A buddy of mine is having his turf captured and he is less than %10 of the aggressor, and it's happening consistently.

How do you tell what your cap radius is?

2) Asking different people near you if they are able to cap you. It's not a static thing, however. -

I'm not level 50 and I had someone over level 50 cap my turf. I thought thy was not possible?

If the other player is:
Under level 25, you may not capture his turf if his influence is less than 10% of your own.
Level 25-49, the influence rule will slowly fade. For example, "a level 35 player will have a 6% ratio (i.e. anyone 16x their size can cap), level 45 will be 2% (i.e. anyone 50x their size can cap), and so on." -nick
Level 50 and above, there is no longer a minimum influence requirement.http://turfwarswiki.com/

If you are trying to cap an inactive player & it says you aren't close enough (even if you have turf covering them) you can't cap them. It's unlikely you'll ever be "close enough" to cap them. This is a method of protecting newer players.
-
Players under level 15 have Don Protection. If you are level 15 or over, it is extremely unlikely you will win against them. Don Protection only works for defense; it will not help someone under level 15 attack.

When someone attacks my turf, how come I can't repair it completely?

No one can repair it completely. You repair it as much as possible & then have to wait for it to heal to 100% on its own. When someone attacks my turf, how come I can't repair it completely?

So if you can't win a fight against the defending turf u can't ever take it over???

There is this guy with a tiny turf in my area. 1 influence. It's his only turf. He has no mob. He's obviously not playing anymore. His tiny spec of a turf is driving me nuts. But his cap radius is smaller than the area I can build in. I can't ever get close enough to cap. Plus his influence will always be less than 10% of mine. Is ther any way I can destroy his turf and just remove it from the map?

No, there is no way to you can cap him or destroy it. Why would you even want to? He helps the economy by existing and you can collect a small amount of protection money from him. Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I've not taken turf before and have a question; do/should I hit the player first and put him in the ER before I hit his property? Does that help my chances of success?

Does building defensive upgrades for a turf actually help it very much?
