🔨🔨🔨MAN LAWS🔨🔨🔨
Forums › General Discussion › 🔨🔨🔨MAN LAWS🔨🔨🔨-
I loved those beer commercials with many famous men actors sitting at a roundtable discussing many rules that men should adhere to. I figured this would be a great place to have one of these discussions.
So here is how it will work. A topic will be brought up and many give their opinion on that topic. Others respond with an "agreed" or "disagreed" and their reason why. After enough opinions are taken I will tally the votes on the law and judgement will be passed. Then the next topic can be brought up and discussed. One man law at a time fellas.
Sorry ladies this is a men thread. If u want to do a similar thread to this for women feel free to.
I'll start it off with the first subject........
-
1. Bathroom etiquette
probably the easies man law to agree to. Men should never have discussions with other men while in a bathroom.... Especially while at a urinal!!!! When you're in the bathroom doing your business you need to be concentrating on getting your business done and getting out of there. Don't look anywhere but right in front of you. Get done and get out!!!

So this applies to all bathroom situations? I'm not saying I enjoy conversating while sitting on the john...but while at work, several guys seem to feel the need to talk about work or personal info while in there. I would rather they didn't...so I'm agreed.
-
If you need to concentrate, you're doing it wrong.
But I agree.
-
Agree for the most part. I think statements can be made, but eyes must stay focused straight ahead. For example at sporting events, one can comment on the game at hand, but never look at the person while making said comment.

I will typically leave a man law topic up for a while..... At least 6 hours before a judgement is made. That gives plenty of men time to voice their opinion.

Can we veto

Eyes must stay forward, agreed. Or else risk the chance of making accidental eye contact (which is the biggest bathroom don't.) Conversation can be made at the sink, at the urinal is ok if at a sporting event and it should be extremely brief and about the game, on the John conversation must NEVER be made, let me do my business and leave me alone.

Also like to add one of the things that really annoys me. When I'm using a single person bathroom, the doors locked, every single time without exception someone will come and try turning the knob, realize it's locked and then proceed to knock continously until I respond. I used to reply with OCUPADO! Now I prefer to mix things up with a COME IN! I'm sorry, I understand you have to go the bathroom but knocking isn't going to speed up my process and like I mentioned before, if I'm on the John I shouldn't have to talk to anyone. Just leave me alone!

anyone else find themselves taking a piss next to the boss and they use it as a perfect chance to discuss work stuff!!!! Can't even go for a pee without being hijacked lol

agreed!

While I won't start a new conversation it is perfectly acceptable to continue a conversation that was already happening as I walked in

I disagree. I've walked into bathrooms while conversations were going on with coworkers. I was freaked out by it and wanted to get out of there really bad. Guys at a urinal talking with high energy is not coolWhile I won't start a new conversation it is perfectly acceptable to continue a conversation that was already happening as I walked in

I mean if worse comes to worse and you absolutely have to say something u talk in a low pitched mumble and make it really short.
-
I agree. Conversation has to be allowed but never whilst floating logs.
(my job takes m into the community and sometimes the people I work with have trouble understanding these practices and so I have to break my own rules)

Agreed.
