Moving this out of the Cry Baby Thread to stop the crying that it's in the wrong place:

How about the people target what they can control? In this country we have the ability and duty to vote in or out of office people that represent our true beliefs. If the people voted with their own minds and hearts instead of who the unions tell them to vote for or who uncle Joe tells them to vote for we might be better off. You have to cut the head off the snake, make the government stop the giveaways. Until the mindset changes from apathy the solutions will elude us. -
I'm confused why would this be in the crybaby thread???

The problem is that there is so much corrupt money in politics, and so much spinning and misinformation fed to voters, that the Joe Average is unable to cast a just vote. The system spins and spins out of control.

I think the communist had the right idea but the original Marx's communist not the communist it became. everyone is equal and everyone is assigned a job government takes care of thier ppl and get rid of all the bums
no higher middle or lower class
just one class
with just one type of people
but since America is a country of the free and we have so many easily influenced morons that'll follow just anythin anyone says it'll be easy to trick them into puttin whoever you want into office -
look. it's called earning your money. I am all for going against giving out bailouts for banks, btu I am not going to say "I hate them rich dudes because they have more money than I do". You can earn money.
However, corruption is real. take huge companies like Monsanto. They provide genetically enhanced crops filled with antibiotics and drugs(BIG MISTAKE) to farmers. However, they have the ability to sue anyone who has their seed in their farms without permission. if their seed floats in from the wind to your farm, they can sue you. and they will win.
Worst of all is that they own most of the seed business. most of the plants you eat are filled with antibiotics and the rest of that Monsanto crap.

Lol. The "richest" one percent of money earning people pay for a whopping 40% of all taxes in the US. imagine how much the top 10% pay. Besides, without the "rich" people there would be no economy. They provide millions of jobs to people worldwide. You can't just say, The system is corrupt. do some research. bring me some hard facts. maybe then I'll believe you.

Don line is right earn your
Money, i see handouts to those who don't try, the people who want to live on welfare there whole life, the people who have more children on purpose when they can't already afford the first two and somehow buy escalades, then complain the gov doesn't pay them enough, and I'm sure our gov is more corrupt more than we realize why are we takin loans from china to pay china for something we want them to do it's rediculous, And our natitional debt.... I lost count how Many trillions?? -
I don't watch Fox. The best is BBC. I watch strictly for info, not so I can listen to ads about some new cartoon. I don't watch news for entertainment. Fox is mostly about over dramatizing any news they have. ike swine flu. it's just like normal flu.
Anyways, a lot of people are talking about how taxes are high, and they take a good amount if your income. Hiwever, most of the taxes paid by working-class don't amount to much in total when compared to the taxes the "rich" people pay.
-
But banks are co pletely different from what I'm talking about. every now and then there is an "incident" and somebody's home gets foreclosed for no reason, other than "mistake". they loan money, knowing you can't pay back, so they'll have a large source of interest.

Actually the highest income Ryan rate in the US is 35%. The highest was 90% in 1945. Kennedy reduced it to 70% and closed loopholes which basically made it a wash withthe 90%. Around 1980 Reagan lowered it to what it is now basically, among all the other things he did like self pay healthcare.I don't watch Fox. The best is BBC. it's not just that all rich people get off easily. it takes time and effort to run a company. B, do you work for a company? if so, most likely a "rich guy" is head of your company. without him you would be jobless. "rich" people are a huge base of income. they provide tons of jobs for people, they increase de elopement, etc. In post industrial economies, the "rich guys" who run financial, information, and innovation services are the base of economy.

Plain and simple truth. Those that enjoy the American dream can pay for it. 35% of billion dollar incomes isn't adequate. Not considering the great benefits they enjoy

B, is right. I used to think the same about handouts. And that system, no doubt, has many users but the amount we are led to believe and it has nothing to do with our current economic state. And, yes, there's a reason why wealthy people are required to pay more taxes. They use way more resources.Del Bosque 🇺🇸💀🔫 wrote:

Don everyone is biased but no more than global news sources funded by big money. The world is full of yellow press. Bbc is no different. You have to research many things to get to the truth. Certainly isn't as simple as watching any global news source.
And it certainly is has simple as saying well "people are talking about how taxes are too high". Well people always say that and are still saying it even though they are significantly lower than they've ever been. It has way more to do with people actually paying taxes aka loopholes and refunds. And even with those problems our economic state was created by the housing bubble and wallstreet schemes. Politicians love to point the finger at the lower class though. Also, this whole idea that we owe the rich business owner is rediculous. It's give and take. Neither "he" or the employees would be anywhere without each other.
-
I agree. the "rich" people get many benefits in the US. And if they continue to receive these benefits, then they will stay in America. This helps their economy. Once the American economy goes down, hey will start moving businesses to China, or somewhere else. Without the "rich", you have no
Jobs
major services
economy.it is true. the working class and the upper class both work hard, in their own way, But does the guy who works as a computer technician at a school know how to actually run the school? probably not. we need both classes to run an economy.

And big businesses have moved out of the US. It's called outsourcing aka cheap labor. Another part of the problem.
I think what B is saying is the drift is much wider between rich and poor than it should be. And it keeps spreading.

I mean that they move their main bases out of America. Priority is granted to other countries. and this loses American jobs. Bigger hits on the economy.
also, "the rich" and "the poor" are not statuses. You really have to define it. I think B is talking about multi-billionaires, who are very few. it's all about how much you earn. Just because yiru job isn't as nice as the rich guy's doesn't mean you should get more.

Um, no to communism!!
How has the "system" given "rich" people everything? What resources do they use more of? How are you even defining "rich?"
