You are blinded by ignorance and hate.
A proper education is not "how to kill". It is how NOT to kill and how NOT to be killed.

I get your tired point, really. I do not shoot at what I can't identify. It is exceedingly unlikely that I will shoot my boy. It's much more likely that I will accidentally kill him while rough-housing in the living room than with a gun, you fear merchant, you.BrownNoise👊🔨💀 wrote:
Sigh, your not getting my point, you can say it'll never happen, but it's dark.My son is an American, so he will be armed by the time he's 15. I'll think twice about trying to kill my intruder son then.

By the way, my weapon of choice is the Glock 23. It's a 40 caliber sub-compact which easily conceals in the lower back. Charlie....Addi....what do y'all carry?

Oh yeah......there's ALWAYS one in the chamber!!

We've got him surrounded!! Shoot him! Shoot him!

Largest army in the world is made up of all the hunters of this great nation. Less people get killed from guns than smoking and drugs each year. If you take the guns away from the legal people then only the illegal people will have them.

I still have my big bulky 22 year old ruger p95.
It doesn't conceal all that well, but I kind of like that.

Glock 19 here. People scoff at it being a puny 9mm with no stopping power, but I have 15 rounds. One of them will get through. It will at least make him pause long enough for me to kick him in his triple balls.By the way, my weapon of choice is the Glock 23. I'll give up my guns as soon as they pry them from my cold dead hands.

Guns should be confiscated, yes. However, in the US you have a much better situation than in the UK.
In the US someone breaks into your home and you have the RIGHT to use deadly force.
Over here, even though an Englishman's home is his castle, if someone breaks into your home unless you tickle them with a feather, regardless of whether they are harming your family or not, you are going to get prosecuted. That's right you can't even defend your home from intruders. Theoretically you can, but in reality it's not true.
I know things like this happen from time to time but look at statically how many people own guns and how many people do this!!

Stupid liberal media.

I'm thinking of buying the "Baby" Glock soon Brown. It's a 9mm and it's tiny. Without the plus one mag my pinky is off the handle. The local police department just switched its standard sidearm from the .45 cal Glocks to the 9mm. The smaller 9mm in fact has greater penetration through layers of close. And I'm sure the fact that it's cheaper to shoot played into that as well.

I actually don't do that. I use a chamber lock. I stick the wrench in the barrel, quarter turn, and pull the slide. I can do it in 2 seconds, and THEN there is one in the chamber. It's just one more layer of security. I have a quick-open safe as well.Oh yeah......there's ALWAYS one in the chamber!!
(beep-beep-beep-beep-CLUNK). Twist, rack, BANG!
That's just my personal compromise, not a recommendation.
-
Charlie, I've never fired a Ruger. What do you like about it?
In Missouri I can open carry legally. I could walk into any store or down the street with my sidearm holstered for all to see. That tends to freak people out so I don't but technically....I could. -

Yeah, D'OHd on that one. I bought the 9mm because I was worried a stray round might go through a wall and hurt someone I wasn't shooting at. Turns out, the .45 is safer than the 9mm in that regard. Brown, I have a fingerprint safe for quick access and then it's two to the chest. I have carried both ways but in the end....I keep one chambered and save the couple seconds.

Did you see that movie "Felon"? Burglar, baseball bat, dead burglar, prison. It's something that makes American's sick. 👍👍👍👍👍👍Just try and take my guns!! Statistically speaking, crime is lower in states that allow conceal carry permits. People should have to go through a safety course before purchasing a firearm. That goes for rifles and pistols alike.

I do loves me some Texas! We still on for a drink on the fourth? I can't wait to come home to the Lone Star state!

And by the way, I would NEVER let my 6 year old fire a pistol. He'd limp wrist it, jamb the brass in the port and scratch my slide. If I want to traumatize him, I'll let him watch CSPAN.

That's only because populations are much lower where carry is permitted. Crime would be reduced there compared to urban areas anyway.Just try and take my guns!! So you want to outlaw gun possession and make the penalty death?!?!? Let's consider the effects on the population of our corrections system.wreckingcrew wrote:
They would give up guns if possession was a death sentence.Even if guns were banned, it's only the responsible law abiding citizens that would turn their guns in. I doubt the criminals would change thier actions and give up all thier guns. Leaving a society in which only the criminals are armed. I have protected myself from being robbed twice with my legal gun and concealed weapon permit.
