The Afghan government had asked Biden to move the withdrawal a couple months down the road until the winter. Because the taliban won’t fight in the winter. He refused. But I know, I know, orange man bad.

Trumps plan was to be out by may of 2022 not this soon. He had it planned to also remove the rest of our equipment and weaponry, which Biden just left behind. Any other president besides Biden would’ve at least destroyed the stuff.

What we do is use small ground groups that rely heavily on air support if they run into ANY resistance. So this is how we trained the Afghan army. Then we took away all the people who knew how to maintain the aircraft.
So the ground troops had 0 support which is why they ran away. They didn’t know what to do. They BEGGED Biden to at least leave them private contractors so they could continue to fight and he said no.
So now they’re being tortured, beaten, families murdered, women in their families raped and sold into sex slavery. All because our president is a piece of shit. But hey at least Biden doesn’t tweet mean things.

I don’t spend anytime outside this game thinking about trump. The dude lost he’s old news. And Biden is not a gem he is the result of trump rubbing a whole lot of people the wrong way. This for a foreseeable result of putting Biden in office. Trump was a shit show but I can’t imagine this happening under him. Leaving these weapons behind? Leaving this many American citizens stranded? Hell no. He didn’t fuck up going from 16k to 2500 so there’s nothing there that would tell me he would have fucked up 2500 to 0.

Trump would have handled the exit differently but again he did get the ball rolling and pretty much told the Taliban we are leaving with out much consideration for those 30 year olds.

Those injured and killed were not for nothing. Thousands of afghanis, men women and children had 20 years of “less fighting” and time to learn. Lots of them even have phds now thanks to our soldiers. It’s only in vein if you look over the good they faught for.
