Source it.Clickbait Headline I see this morning: Charlotte Figi, 13, whose CBD journey inspired medical marijuana reform dies of corona virus.
Now let me give you some direct quotes from the article:
“Family was sick in early March but because they did not meet criteria for corona testing they were told to treat at home”
“Charlotte worsened and was tested for the Coronavirus and tests came back negative”
“Charlotte later suffered a seizure (the reason behind the CBD fight to begin with) that resulted in respiratory failure and cardiac arrest”
Source - denver post
This is the bullshit I’m complaint about. It’s not that people aren’t dying of coronavirus. It’s that the numbers are being blown way out of proportion and the media is just adding fuel to the fire.

I mean googling it wasn’t hard. I threw in one from the New York post just for fun.

This is the Denver Post headline from the link you gave:
“Charlotte Figi, 13-year-old Coloradan who inspired CBD reform, dies after family suspects she contracted coronavirus”
Then: “A Facebook post by Realm of Caring, the nonprofit organization co-founded by Charlotte’s mother that focuses on medical cannabis research and education, originally attributed the girl’s death to “COVID-19 complications.” The post has since been edited to remove that language.”
Media headlines don’t determine cause of death. IMO the headline doesn’t fuel anything, but everyone is different. She had serious health issues. If her test had been positive, then there could have been a chance Covid player a role. Since her test was negative, 🤷🏼♀️. One possibility is that she had the flu. Hopefully they’ll be able to do an autopsy to determine the cause.

Maybe don’t click on clickbait? 🤷🏼♀️

I mean, if we followed your advice in the beginning and went on about our lives so as not to harm the economy, we’d lose a couple million. I know you are still pissed that we didn’t do that.
Now you want credit for the “overreaction”? Psh.

It looks like they did decline by about 72 from April 7-April 9, then they went up by about 134 on April 10. Now the site is projecting that April 10 was the peak for the US for deaths. It says peak resource use will be on April 11. I hope they are right & we’ve hit the peak.Oh no! Deaths in the US have declined for the third straight day!!! Why are you arguing over the same stuff? Covid isn’t spread across the country equally. NY is the worst. They still need vents, etc. Other states, like Texas, haven’t peaked yet but are still predicted to have plenty of resources. I already wrote a bunch about that. Read the other thread.

Your whole argument is that people have died so we can’t be happy about things getting better. My whole argument was 2 million or even 200,000 people dying in the United States alone is unrealistic based on death statistics. You can spin it anyway you want to to make yourself feel better. But at the end of the day you were wrong. Get a grip dude.℣į₭ϊ₦Ǥ👹 wrote:

Uh, no. Your argument in the beginning was that this would all blow over and we should do nothing. Had we done that, millions in the US absolutely would have died.
