I think we need to do better on welcoming new players. They get bashed a lot for asking questions and doing mistakes. We should do better to help them. They are Important to the game. Let’s try being nicer. I love the turf wars community and the amazing people I’ve met. And that helped me want to be a part of this game. If we show them we are good people they will want to stay more than not. Let’s be a friendlier community so they can stay and play among us 💪🏻🤓

Yeah I tend to agree. There’s no need to give someone a hard time for asking questions; how else can they learn?
Considering that the number of active players has been dwindling of late, we should really do a better job of welcoming these guys into the community and encouraging them to stick around.

I would remind people that attitude and manners may help. A simple "thank you" may work wonders. I've also had a few "self entitled" attitudes given when I ask questions to try and clarify the problem. Answers such as "why the fuck are you wasting my time if you aren't going to help" or "who are you to question me" aren't conducive to my wanting to help.

If people were nice to me when I started I probably would have gotten bored and quit. I kept playing because people were assholes and I wanted to beat them. Maybe that’s just my personality though.

This not about war part of the game. But the socializing part like the forums and chats. If a new players asks a questions there’s a high chance he’ll get a shut down for It. Which makes him think It won’t be fun to play the game and will quit.

Could be worse. At least we don't act paranoid like the Parallel Kingdom/Mafia community did. New player? Apparently every new player was just a veteran player trying to hide to them. So, if they ended up finding your hideout they took all your shit. No mercy. Nada.

That ain’t the point. The point is getting new players into the game to keep it going. Small, newer players war — they just mostly war amongst themselves and players their size. I mean, if someone pops off at the mouth, they’re fair game, but newer players who’re just looking for info, I do think we should help and support.

That ain’t the point. The point is getting new players into the game to keep it going. Small, newer players war — they just mostly war amongst themselves and players their size. A lot is to be learned in this game. I know when I was new I learned the hard way. In the end the people that taught me a lesson also taught me to play. A lot of unwritten rules in this game!

No friendly community. Put them through the fire and beat the hell out of them. The ones that stay will make better players, the ones that washout and quit were never meant for the game and it means less whining down the road.

That being said, there’s no reason to be a douche nozzle to people when they are trying to find ways to be a part of the community and become a better player. You lose absolutely nothing from taking a few minutes to improve the game for everyone still playing. I’m not saying coddle players but treating them like someone on JM’s shit list does nothing positive for anyone, even for the person being the ass.

We all understand that it’s a war game but who ya gonna fight when ya run everyone off?? It’s really not too much to ask not to be a dick to someone just trying to learn the intricacies of the game. Who wants to play a game when they’re ignored or made to feel like an idiot for asking a simple question. If people wanted that they’d talk to their coworkers or bosses or families instead of trying to escape reality seeking entertainment via a cool location based game.

There is a difference in beating on someone on the map or acting like an ass in the forums. They are not one in the same. You can beat the hell out of them and give good advice and be nice in the forums all at the same time. I agree theres no reason to be a dick
