In regards to multi layered maps, what happens to a players turf once they move up or down a layer? Do they lose all their turf, does it convert and move over with them? If it moves over, what happens if there’s already a turf in that spot?

devils advocate on this layered map idea, it'll be very lonely at the top layer with either the die hard fighters or long time huggers on the map and essentially isolate vets altogether. lots of people complain now that theres no new blood in the game anymore, itll essentially be that way but worse at the upper layers for a very long time. the fighting players that are losing will be forced to continue losing with no hope of new players for rangers, which will push more vets out of the game as well.

been saying it for years, but at least decouple mob size from the active player base. that is probably the most limiting factor right now for new players. i know lots of vets now that got their asses kicked as new players and just put in the time to mob up and be able to fight for themselves. now there is literally no chance in hell new players can stand up to even a 5k local bully.
sure more thought will need to go into how mobbing up will work as there will need to be some limiting factor or maybe dont have any limit at all and may the best code punchers win

Couldn’t they just adjust the influence % of capping? Or add a ratio of a % of mob similar to vendettas but for individual capping? Seems like an easier fix than changing the map. Besides, I think that would cause problems with the map.

I see the point but there are plenty of rangers that are level 100+. Its just level based not mob based. And if people are training/fighting they level up fast enough. The ones that arent active enough or dont want to fight take longer to get there.devils advocate on this layered map idea, it'll be very lonely at the top layer with either the die hard fighters or long time huggers on the map and essentially isolate vets altogether. lots of people complain now that theres no new blood in the game anymore, itll essentially be that way but worse at the upper layers for a very long time. the fighting players that are losing will be forced to continue losing with no hope of new players for rangers, which will push more vets out of the game as well.

The fisrt two layers would be for training purposes only really. Your turf count would remain the same but the turf would be reset on the map so you couldnt lock an airport or something on level 1 then surprise vets when you hit 100. Also prevents vets from using level 1s to lock down airports. In regards to multi layered maps, what happens to a players turf once they move up or down a layer? And, for those that dont like the game or leave early you dont have their turf lingering around on the vet map. They would be on the arena1 or arena2 maps. The vet map would only contain turfs of players lvl 100+. No cap restrictions.
