There are no easy solutions. Doing nothing has dire costs as well. We went to war with ourselves over economic and cultural differences and had to force the South to participate in our union as well. They didn't want to abolish slavery because their economy depended on it. Who would decide that war wasn't worth the cost? Spreading democracy is the only solution we have. Is it perfect? No. But what else can we do? Let them fester, and multiply, and start spreading out? Meh.My point was just to say that the war drums are beating once again. I only ask at what cost, and what is the justification for this new war? How many times are we going to try to give democracy to those who don't want it? I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I was simply presenting the information to let people know, that going to war with ISIS isn't about defeating this rogue group.

If you could just imagine a world where business and government are two separate things, your views would be drastically different.
I don't know why you don't think China is entirely supplying the U.S. spread of democracy. They sell us all out shit.

Look at that! China is supplying our weapons! China is backing the U.S. aggression in the Middle East!

Now, I still haven't seen an acknowledgment of my "Hunt for Red October" evidence. You were wrong. Be a man.
But did you know the screws (propellers) on our subs were once designed and built by Toshiba? Now we have Japan implicated in U.S. efforts of world domination.
Dear God.

Didn't I say in the very beginning that all wars are for the elites profit ???? Did I not say this is why we are at war ??? So you do agree with me -

Wait. Hold up. You ACTUALLY believe IBM instigated the extermination of the Jews in order to sell a punched card system to the Germans?
Really.

This is a fascinating disease. I really should start a research project on it. Anything that goes against popular understanding, you believe. No matter how insanely contrived it is, you jump on board. Whatever it is that authority tells you, simply by virtue of it being said by authority, must be a lie. It's a different logical framework, and I must try to reverse engineer what the rules are.

So if you don't think the Iraq war was for oil or Syria for Gas . Then explain why we are in Syria.

Explain why monumental events must have a monumental cause.

We need oil and gas for our own national security. This is why Japan attacked the United States. We have a vested interest in stabilizing the Middle East to promote the open trade and supply of oil.So if you don't think the Iraq war was for oil or Syria for Gas . Then explain why we are in Syria.
Why do you think this is a secret?

The question at the beginning of this thread is about being on the brink of war with Russia.
I've explained why I think we are on the brink because of Gas and so have others.
You have no explanation why the West is upset with Russia over bombing Isis. You try to say we are fighting the big bad monster Isis for no other reason than because there the bad guys. The same bollox our government spins us. So explain if us and Russia are both bombing Isis why are we so upset with them.
Fiberian tried to give us his idea on the situation but then realized he was talking shite and shut up.So come on let's hear your thoughts that's what the thread is about you have had about 20 comments and not one on the subject of why we are close to war with Russia for bombing Isis
-
Russia is not there to bomb ISIS. We are pissed at them for backing the regime we are trying to oust. It's a proxy war, and they have chosen the other team. ISIS is a side matter.
-
ISIS (also known as ISIL by the Obama Admin) are the foot soldiers of the Western military alliance. Their unspoken mandate is to wreck havoc and destruction in Syria and Iraq, acting on behalf of their US sponsors.
Both ISIS (aka ISIL) and Al Nusra (aka Al Qaeda) are protected by the Western military alliance (which is why the so called 'bombing of ISIS' wasn't going so well for the U.S. because they weren't actually bombing ISIS/ISIL like they claimed they were and perhaps is one of the reasons Russia decided to go in to Syria and actually start bombing ISIS/ISIL.) Both Al Qaeda entities are used to destroy Syria and Iraq. The U.S. air campaign allegedly against ISIS does not target ISIS, it targets Syria and Iraq, schools, hospitals, factories, residential areas, government buildings, roads, bridges, etc.
-
The U.S. has supported Al Qaeda (Al Nusra) and its affiliated organizations for almost half a century since the heyday of the Soviet Afghan war.
The U.S. seems to have rebranded their image of supporting terrorism. Kind of like Comcasts image is so bad they had to rebrand themselves through the name Xfinity.
Sounds to me like Russia has a keen sense of smell for U.S. fed bullshit.
-
What are you, fighting Shush for the crazy crown?
-
2+2=5 ...no really, CNN said so.
-
Yes, President Obama is targeting schools and hospitals, and CNN says 2+2=5. I understand that you feel that way.
(I don't know how someone with such low self esteem can be so extroverted concerning their unpopular ideas, but...)
Did you have a nice Valentine's Day, then?
-
The fact that the United States has a long and torrid history of backing terrorist groups will surprise only those who watch the news and ignore history.
The CIA gave birth to Bin Laden and breastfed his organization during the 80's. As much as you hate to admit it, Al Qaeda is a product of Western intelligence agencies.
The U.S. is using ISIS/ISIL in 3 ways: to attack it's enemies in the middle east, to serve as a pretext for U.S. military intervention abroad, and at home to foment a manufactured domestic threat used to justify the unprecedented expansion of invasive domestic surveillance.
And I think it's safe to say that you received the most flowers and hearts today Brown. @=>==

So where is your evidence for these wild claims? Did someone high up in the CIA confide in you? Or did you get this information as speculation from other, like minded basement-dwelling fantasy fetishists?

stupid people everywhereObama is the head of ISIS. Why do I believe this? Because he doesn't have a true birth certificate and is not a legal citizen. Next since he was born in Africa, near the middle east, it could be possible that the Muslims trained him and educated him and paid for him to go to America for a "better life" secretly to become the US president and overthrow America with banning guns and such. Also he is a professed practicing Muslim which in their religion they believe in Jihad which means the only way to spread their religion is by pillaging and conquering all other religions (aka kill everyone else or until they convert to Islam). The fact that he was elected president means that at least 50% of Americans are now morons. But in fact the sad part is that ISIS's plan actually worked to overthrow the largest super power in the world today.

Being that Brown enjoys a good leg hump, I can understand why he chooses to be so naive.
