Just wondering if anyone here plans to vote for him and why?
-
I'm sorry, I didn't know we were voting for someone whose beliefs go against what our country calls "FREEDOM".
-
Sanders is the Democrat anti-establishment candidate, as Trump is the Republican anti-establishment candidate. If these guys both become our options, it says a lot about how we perceive our current and past administrations. Americans are not happy with politics as usual.

Bernie 2016! Go Bernie! I'll be voting for him, been following him for about a year before he stated he was running for president. Watched just about every video out there on YouTube that has him in it - good watch!

I don't like that so much deception is required for our leaders to win the popularity contest that gets them in office.

Sanders is leaps and bounds better than his competition on either side.
Of course, each potential candidate will be valued differently by everyone. For me, Sanders is the best candidate. May not be the same for everyone. It doesn't make anyone wrong, just different.

no, he's for bringing down hardworking Americans and giving handouts to the lazy and poor.Bernie quotes:
"Not only our future economic soundness but the very soundness of our democratic institutions depends on the determination of our government to give employment to idle men." -
Bernie quotes:
"We are trying to construct a more inclusive society. We are going to make a country in which no one is left out." -
I'd vote for Sanders as long as I was sure he doesn't really believe all the naive, stupid shit he has to say in order for his base to keep giving him money.
-
Bernie quotes:
"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much it is whether we provide enough for those who have little."

So.... Welfare, food stamps, WIC, unemployment benefits, social security, Medicaid, Medicare. None of this is good enough? Does he mean that the executive branch should pay poor people directly until they aren't poor anymore? What does this little nugget of wisdom mean in the real world?Bernie quotes:

Even the ones that want to be? That's kind of frightening. In your mind, who do you think Mr. Sanders is talking about?Bernie quotes:

So unemployment is approaching an all time low at 4.9% currently. It has been on a steep decline since 2010. Are you saying Bernie wants to change that?༦ᵑᏃͦᎥͫᏁͣᎶͩᎶᎪ༤ wrote:

Oops, my bad. All those quotes were from Franklin D Roosevelt. All those "socialist" programs that he created in both New Deals; from Medicare, to SS, to WPA, to the TVA, etc, they all obviously destroyed the fabric of this country and didn't lead to the greatest economic boom in American history.
My bad.

People seem to think Bernie would be the first "socialist" elected. it's not that hard to correct that fallacy. I love to hear of the geniuses that threaten to leave the U.S. if Bernie wins. Please point out the other first world country that does not provide affordable healthcare and higher education as a basic tenant to its citizenry.
