Bernie

To switch our focus toward 'Democratic Socialism' would be to eliminate tax loopholes, handouts, bailouts, offshore tax havens and making big business pay it's fair share as they're supposed to. Allowing us to reallocate where we send that huge amount if money and use it toward something good for our people like college educations and staying alive. Economists from all over have backed sanders' plan, including Robert Reich (spelling?), who officially endorsed him last week. Hell, the amount the corporations m spend on lobbying/contributing to super-pacs and the money they'd save from not having to pay for healthcare for their workers alone should be a nice bonus to them once it's done.

I would vote for him but I'm to young to vote. He shares my views and thoughts on most things, and shares more than any candidate as far as I can tell. That's why I would vote for him if I was old enough to vote.Just wondering if anyone here plans to vote for him and why?

In a few that is true like he'd give free healthcare or at least try to, while the hardworking would make money to get healthcare and not need free stuff. The poor deserve free healthcare and the lazy not so much.jimmy big-balls wrote:
no, he's for bringing down hardworking Americans and giving handouts to the lazy and poor.Skycowboy111 wrote:

What makes someone poor?
*Bad Luck
*Ignorance
*Lack of Motivation
*Antisocial Behavior
So what they mean to say by "the poor and the lazy" is probably "Criminal, stupid, lazy people who just can't catch a break".
Is that better?

I kid, I kid.
I've been kind of poor. Like unemployed couch surfing and stealing cans of pie filling for dinner. Not the lowest, but I wasn't contributing.
I think I'm not poor anymore thanks to grants and scholarships, lots of hard work, a little bit of luck, a little bit of brain power, and staying out of trouble.
We can hand out grants and scholarships, but we can't hand out motivation, luck, smarts, and mental health.
So I don't think Bernie will change much with his free money platform. The poor can already go to college for free. (Thanks Bill!)

No one would leave if Bernie was elected. I've only heard people say they'd leave if Trump was elevated. I've heard no leaving if any other candidates were elected except Trump and not even about Bernie.People seem to think Bernie would be the first "socialist" elected. it's not that hard to correct that fallacy. I love to hear of the geniuses that threaten to leave the U.S. if Bernie wins. Please point out the other first world country that does not provide affordable healthcare and higher education as a basic tenant to its citizenry.

I grew up in a household with welfare and food stamps. I'm not saying its glamorous in any way. its just an easy way for unmotivated people to just skate by in life. if you want to live glamorously, work towards it. don't work at Walmart for 30 years and complain you're not middle class. get what I'm saying?Greshthegreat wrote:

Steven Crowder has an excellent video on free health care in Canada. I would highly recommend it.
