Offer to buy em off his dad 😜I'm a simple man...
I much prefer a revolver, and love my Ruger GP100. Fond of my pistol, a Baretta PX4 Storm too. Nice capacity, but too much to think about.
I almost bought an AR-15 two years ago, and really wish I did. I thoroughly enjoyed firing my friend's Kalashnikov several years ago, but he has since gone bipolar, and his dad took away all of his firearms.

to hunt, to kill, to protect family, friends and god given rights. to watch the light disappear from someones eyes and listen to them exhale that last breath because they decided to fuck with the wrong person. i guess thats why most people want them, me i just want to shoot bottles in my back yard lol. 😉

and because should the day come that i ever need one, i would rather have one and be ready than not have it and regret it.

So if someone breaks in your house while your sleeping your going to pull it from under your pillow.
Or if you get mugged on the street your going to pull it from your ankle holster ? LolMore chance of your kids finding it at blowing there own brains out

I don't keep mine under my pillow but I do keep it within arms reach, ankle holsters are for the backup pistol the primary pistol should be on the hip or a shoulder holster, if you can afford a kid you should be able to afford a fingerprint access gun safe (it's fast and just as effective as a normal safe)So if someone breaks in your house while your sleeping your going to pull it from under your pillow.

Or you could teach them that guns are not toys, and are very dangerous. I know knives are being controlled in the UK, so let's keep this in the U.S. Knives are perfectly legal. They are just as lethal as guns. Yet kids know to not play with knives. How is this possible? Through education and learning the proper use of said tool. Not through fear. To fear the possibilities of a gun and not other day household items is illogical. I have a one year old. I don't keep the gun locked in a safe where it is not accessible for that one time possibility. Just the same way I don't lock up knives, pens, keys, the remote control with batteries in it. All those household items are inherently dangerous if used improperly. So bottom line is be a parent. Use discipline and care enough about them to teach them what they can play with and not play with.

Well said.
