I didn't want to look up the stupid symbol. And I don't like em so if it irritates em. I'm okay with it!

The person citing an experiment doesn't have to look credible, that's why he's using someone else's work. Besides, you got the point, so what does it matter? Or are you trying to branch off to yet another argument?🔥💩 wrote:

I can totally understand where the dude was coming from for objecting to the book his kid was having to read. One of the books my daughter was required to read had a boy getting raped in it. These people who decide what is required reading should be flogged!

Wait... What are you talking about? We've settled that issue days ago.
Do you have anything to say about government conspiracy, climate change, space travel, or pig shit?

Your right mate, totally no need -
It wouldn't have come to this if parents would teach their children about sex. They'd rather run around yelling "bwahhh" like Hank Hill.
-
The only required reading there should be is for reading a Song of Fire and Ice. Age appropriate material right there.

You'll have to actually read the articles, not just the headlines. The 2nd agrees with your statement, but it doesn't have the implications that you think it does. -

Science.
Though your argument is thorough and convincing, I just have this gut feeling that the vast majority of research scientists might know more than you do in this area.

No evidence what so ever, for every link you get saying global warming is a problem there's one saying its a farce.
But by all means keep riding your bicycle to work, have a bath then wash your clothes in the same water because I'm sure your not just another hypercritical do gooder that never teaches what he preaches -
Let's see a link to a scientific organization that says global warming is a farce. Just one will do. If you think this is a controversial scientific issue, I think you are sadly mistaken. It's a controversial political issue, but the science is very clear.

Skeptical Science says this about the global warming arguments: "Often, the reason for disbelieving in man-made global warming seem to be political rather than scientific. Eg - "it's all a liberal plot to spread socialism and destroy capitalism". As one person put it, "the cheerleaders for doing something about global warming seem to be largely the cheerleaders for many causes of which I disapprove". However, what is causing global warming is a purely scientific question. Skeptical Science removes the politics from the debate by concentrating solely on the science."

The author of your "scientific organization" is not an academic, he's a writer. He writes to sell shit and make money. Here's what RationalWiki says about him. "Robert W. Felix is a crank extraordinaire promoting his own brand of Earth changes, which acts as a framework that he can shoehorn various other types of crankery into. All of his "theories" revolve around pole shifts and cosmic rays." http://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Robert_W._Felix
Here's a website written by a scholar who references actual scientists.

This is some pretty funny stuff about your "scientific organization," papillon.
Quotes on Felix
With the publication of his chapter "Fatal Flaw," author Robert W. Felix joins such luminaries as Charles Darwin, Alice Walker, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., Maya Angelou, Aldous Huxley and Walt Whitman.— Robert W. Felix on Robert W. Felix
I remember thinking when I first read this in your book (about carbon raining from the sky) that I'm reading a book written by a nut job. But as I do more independent research, I keep finding supporting evidence for your claims.—Richard Lacaba on Robert W. Felix[1]
Is Felix a climatologist, a volcanologist or an oceanographer? Er, none of the above. His biography describes him as a "former architect". His website is so bonkers that I thought at first it was a spoof. Sadly, he appears to believe what he says.—George Monbiot on Robert W. Felix[2]
What's even funnier is that he seems to have created the Richard Lacaba persona to endorse him.

That article you posted, the first guy listed as a top scientist, is a non-climate physicist who by his own admission did a mere half a day of google research the day before he spoke on the subject of climate change where he is referenced as a skeptic of global warming. I'm not going to bother going into any more depth, I feel you're argument has been pretty well destroyed already.
Ivar Giaever won his Nobel prize for his work in tunnelling phenomena in solids. Quantum Mechanics, in other words. Not Climate Change.

Papillon just likes to espouse crazy conspiracy theories. He doesn't have the education or critical thinking skills to understand the actual science so he cuts and pastes whatever he can find that opposes the general consensus. He's already done the moon landing, climate change, and American education. I expect a Roswell or big foot thread next.
