Affordable Care Act - how much did your healthcare go up?

What.....the.... Did you just say many pregnancies are accedental? What are you smoking? People should not have sexual relations until they consider conception and birth a consiquince, but hey, in today's society, sex is a pleasure toy, and the killing of millions of unborn but living baby's is okay. If your counter argument is that a baby would become a burden on an already struggling family, then put it in an orphanage. But if you are not absolutly scraping at the bottom of the barrel for cash, then I suggest raising your child instead of killing it before birth.

Oh my. A pretend pro-lifer who believes the poor deserve to suffer, because hey, it was their choice. Imagine my bottomless surprise. And you said that an unwed mother getting pregnant was an obstacle to her prosperity and thus a burden, not me. You're a walking contradiction.What.....the.... Pretend pro-lifer? I'm a catholic, I pray for the outlawing of abortion.
Walking contradiction? I said it would be better to put the baby in an orphanage the to kill it. Where did I say a baby is a burden? I said that would probably be a typical response by a person like you.
Suffer? Please, enlighten me has to how a child makes the parents suffer, yes, birth is painful, but hundreds of millions of mothers go through it every week, and it's worth it for a child. A child is a blessing, we have orphanages for a reason.
I pray you can see the value of life and not call most pregnancies 'accidents'

And speaking of contradictions, you say it wasn't there choice to have relations?
-
Ah...Catholic. That explains it. Just like Saint *cough* Mother Teresa. Please keep me out of your silly prayers. Better yet, keep your warped morality out of my secular government.

It's a basic biological urge to reproduce. It's why we're all here. We are part of the animal kingdom after all. Seriously though, I was more talking about birth control failing or the man saying "Sure, I'm wearing a condom." You know, things that happen in reality. And speaking of contradictions, you say it wasn't there choice to have relations?

"There is something beautiful in seeing the poor accept their lot, to suffer it like Christ's Passion. The world gains much from their suffering.”

Was I insisting on religious influence on government? No. I am happy church and state are separate.

Do you know how many children suffered and died in the process of obtaining the rare earth minerals from poverty-stricken regions of Africa so you could enjoy the convenience of an iDevice? Save your fake morality for the other gullible fools. One last thing-

Also, how does that have to do with a rise in favor with communism and a senator?

Do I really have to spoon feed everything to your intellectually lazy ass? Sigh. The communists were atheists (not really, they worshipped the state). For some reason many Americans reacted to this by trying to prove how 'un-atheistic' we were. Much like Sept 11th resulted in an anti-Muslim backlash and a rise in Christian fundamentalist politicians gaining favor among the populace. Also, how does that have to do with a rise in favor with communism and a senator?

"I'm a catholic, I pray for the outlawing of abortion."These statements seem to be at odds with each other. Also you weakly argued that this is a government 'under god' by mentioning the pledge of allegiance. You seem confused.
-
Just because I pray for the government to recognize the horror of abortion does not mean I want the Church to be integrated with state, I believe in religious freedom, everyone has their own rights.

Religious freedom is not the same as government free from religious influence. Major distinction there. You know what, I changed my mind. I'd be honored (and incredibly amused) if I knew you were praying to your Catholic god for the salvation of fnord's everlasting soul. Pray me up a new truck while you're at it. Nothing too fancy.

fnord you really are an asshole FFS. You come to every debate with an I've already won, I'm smarter than everyone else, all arguments are irrelevant, I like to stare at my giant dick in the mirror attitude. Go kindly fuck yourself, yes I can already predict your reply, blah blah blah. My reaction is just as emotional as most of your bullshit opinionated replies.

If you had any courage in your convictions you'd stand up for them instead of flinging poo at people and running away giggling like a child. You obviously want so badly to put me in my place but you sadly lack the tools to explain yourself. What does it say about your position if you can't even explain it? Everyone else on this thread is a respected peer, you're just a drunk spectator who ran naked on the field and got tackled by security. Amusing for sure, but merely a distraction already forgotten.fnord you really are an asshole FFS. Sounds like your talking about your self there 'what does it say about your position if you can't explain it'. OU812 is right, your opinionated, not once in this entire argument have you ever been balanced, with facts to guide you. You hide your opinions behind fancy word play and lengthy descriptions to make it seem factual when in fact it is quite the opposite. Have you even been fair to my side? No.Have you given a logical counter argument without throwing in an insult about my beliefs? No.

But anyway, thanks for calling me a 'respected peer' since I have been so kindly treated.

You name a Deist founder and I'll name a committed Christian founder. Let's see which list is longer. Ready, set, go.

You decided insert yourself into the conversation by twisting my factual statement that many pregnancies are accidental into a vehicle for you to lecture me about your religious beliefs. If you don't want people commenting on your religion don't shamelessly parade it around like a used car salesman. Honestly you lost me when you said abortion should be outlawed. No exceptions, I assume? That's an extreme position worthy of ridicule. Correct me if I've misjudged you.✂️OU812 is right, your opinionated, not once in this entire argument have you ever been balanced, with facts to guide you. I'm a 'respected peer' too! So, I've got that going for me, lmao! Water cooler has certainly been interesting. Thanks guys!

like I said fnord argueing with self righteous opinionated fools like you isn't fun anymore and a waste of time. You are not interested in anything but a dick contest. If you had any courage at all you would be a little more open minded and not a complete fucking tool. You are an arrogant know it all assface. Yes I am laughing when I type it out. Get over yourself prick

No pregnancy is an accident, sex makes babies. Have sex, have baby. Only us humans with our narsasitic behaviors think it is ok to kill our babies before they are born, because the sex of the baby is not what we want. If every humans had good ethical behavior we would all be pro life

@ Ragnar American historian Richard B. Morris, in his 1973 book Seven Who Shaped Our Destiny: The Founding Fathers as Revolutionaries, identified the following seven figures as the "key" Founding Fathers:
John Adams
Benjamin Franklin
Alexander Hamilton
John Jay
Thomas Jefferson
James Madison
George Washington
Of these, only John Jay can be considered an orthodox Christian.
Four out of these key seven founders were Deists:
Franklin, Jefferson, Madison and Washington. -

Now you are moving the goal posts. Earlier you said the founders were "mostly Deists," and this was "common knowledge." I am familiar with Mr. Morris' book.@ Ragnar American historian Richard B. Other biographers have arrived at other conclusions, particularly regarding Washington. Madison is probably more accurately described as an anti-clerical believer. Franklin and Jefferson were without doubt Deists, as was Thomas Paine.
However, your statement that the founders were "mostly Deists" is certainly not true. We can pick this up again tomorrow evening if you like, but I'm off to bed now.
