This looks all to familiar. Drizzy. With all ur inovative ideas and costant complaining. Y dnt u just go make a game urself? Implement all ur ideas. Then u can't cry. Then we can all play it for a bit and complain to u in a endless paragraph of babble. What u think of that?

1. no more 24 hr rule
2. no cap limit, or there should be a limit to how many turfs can be built in a day
3. vendettas should be

oh! also a person shouldn't be notified that they r targeted for destruction. they can just c for themselves in the vendetta section

I think the problem is balancing the casual players with the hard core players. I would consider myself somewhere in between. If you remove the 24 hour rule and remove notifications, the casual player won't have a chance. Casual players make up the majority of the TW community.

I do like your suggestions though Drizzy. What if........there was an alternate TW world (app) created for upper echelon players. You have to reach a certain point in game stats or stature to play that app?? Thi would give new players a chance to hone their skills in the minors before getting called up to the big time.

maybe once you reach 100 you are put into TW elite system and its no holds barred.

but, to also talk about the casual players, it is the hardcore players who spend the money, therefore i would think it be in Nick's best interest to listen to suggestions from them

Valid point concerning the hard core players. I would be interested to know what the average player spends on the game. I've maybe put in 400 to 500 myself but that is usually in turf obviously. I guess it's a struggle to find a place where both player types can grow together. From Nicks perspective, TW is a cash cow and why change it. However, if it could be expanded to target players like us who will spend if it provides entertainment....you'd be sill not to explore that wouldn't you??

Remove 24 hr rule(maybe tweak it 4 hrs was suggested), and either remove cap limit or rebuild limit per day, and also allow more than 4 to a V. Lastly no notifications of intent to be destroyed.
this can and WILL allow for even small players to protect themselves from a city bully but suprise attacking them and if done right removing them from the city(if they are not from there)

This is a strategy game not an action game. IMO any of these changes would ruin this game for anyone with a life.

Large players as well will lend a helping hand as its already been proven.
its time to remove the training wheels and open the game up for more action.
these new gameplay strategies will also require more diplomacy or care for the actions/words that one does or say.
it also provides true like war situations.
in this type of gameplay, noobs alike can even take down bullys.
Vendettas u say...? ok lets say i wanted to bully all of san antonio. only 4 of them could make a V but im still to large and i could still destroy them. allow mire than 4 and dont tell the person targeted, and now we have action and suprise at ever corner.

im about to walk out the door and im not going to even bother mentioning how much ive spent. will i continue to pay...no. Y? bcuz Nick hasnt come forward with any indications that gameplay chang is in the works. TW is already a success u say...? yes it is, but why stop here and let this be it? TW already has done something new, time to expand it and see what it will take to keep paying veterans around. y not even think about it???

Valid points Drizzy and I agree on most of them. Unfortunately, unless there are elements added to the game to "unlock" as you put it the ability to fight worldwide and more effectively defend local territory......more and more of the veterans will lose interest.

How about a V where the bullied can invite players from out of area for say 25pts per outta area player. This way a player say in Germany can go to the US recruit 4 players pay 100pts. You now have a form of world wide play, and a bully has to fear larger players WORLDWIDE comin to help the bullied.

Problemis drizz most of what you've said was already here. There was a time without the 24 hour rule. It didn't work out too wel that way. Cap limit isn't even all that old. I was here when that first got going. Vendetta limits are important they make the vendettas require more strategy. I'd actually love an anything goes system it was nearly that way when I joined and I was sorry to see it go but we have a far lower turnaround than from those days so the system seems to work

Why don't you guys just pick a location (city, county, whatever) and duke it out in there? If someone runs, they can't participate or have some other disqualifier. Both groups are honest enough to play by some agreed rules and you'd get this resolution you seek.
It's at least something to try while Nick considers some of the games limitations.
Drizz - I understand where you're coming from but you're taking an unecessary posture. It's not like Nick gonna run an update this weekend based on this debate..., -

No D, but calling Nick out acting like he "has" to respond in this thread or insinuating that a bunch of people are quitting or boycotting spending $ tends to piss off devs more than get them thinking (at least, the game devs I know react that way).

read everything i have written. ive said this is a good successful game, but definantly needs a gameplay update. ppl have agreed.
all i am asking are for his thoughts. key word "asking". not demanding
