I think it's funny that everyone wants to call people supporting the bill socialist and communist. They don't want the government telling them what to do. They don't want the government mandating anything. But when they get old or the "s**t hits the fan" as everyone is saying they are standing there holding their hand out waiting for the government money. Everyone says they don't want government healthcare but touch Medicare and all hell breaks loose. Seems everyone is saying one thing but doing another.

We need Obama out of office ASAP. If Romney isn't elected, Obama will undoubtedly pass another 2 trillion in failed stimulus packages his second term. The middle class of America (>90% of American citizens) will go into serious debt. After we get Romney elected, we still need major tax reforms.

This shouldn't be about party identification. It should be about what is most beneficial to our country. And looking at the hard facts, obama is the anti-cure.

Bush was given an awful situation, and dealt with it quite well, given the circumstances. Obama opened shop with all the tools and abilities to really turn this country around. But he didn't. Because he spent all of his time blaming bush for things that bush couldnt have helped one way or another. Read up on some of the things the actually transpired while bush was in office, then come talk shit here. -

Superman Syndrome. Do you know how many people under 30 get cancer? You are not invincible. This is why we call it insurance. I might carry catastrophic insurance, but in 2014, this alone won't be acceptable. Supposedly I and my BF one of the 30 million individuals "saved" by obamacare.
I don't need a politician to save me.
If one is fired or laid off, there is already cobra and Medicare/Medicaid.

I guess you don't need the government funded Medicare/Medicade either then if you are completely able to prepare for yourself.I didnt read the whole thing, but I took a good portion of my life trying to educate myself on the actual consequences of the law such as reading about the pros and cons of european healthcare from all sources.
As far as local government, I can go to a town meeting or school board meeting and address any grievances I have with their costs or services, or I can move, can't do that with federally mandated care.
If a disaster happened, there is always Medicare/Medicaid, but I don't need some bureaucrat in Washington or Jeff city (my state capital) "watching out" for me when I'm perfectly able to prepare and take care of myself.
