Grab the wall and Spiderman my way back up to the top

Would gravity equal out when you reached the core? Would you just float in place then?

If its bottomless, I'd probably take a nap... Spit a few times... Throw a rock down and see if I ever catch it.. Throw a rock up and do the same thing..
I'd get bored fast :P -
You would die. You would end up at such a high speed you would be torn to pieces. Logic

You can only fall so fast. The speed doesn't increase the longer you fall. I can't remember the exact mph. But it's called terminal velocity. You would die. You would end up at such a high speed you would be torn to pieces. Logic

I was thinking the same thing. I think it's 9.8 m/s. not sure though. Been quite a few years since my last physics class.☆ A〽NESTY ☆ wrote:

Gravity can only pull on you so hard, not to mention that if it was bottomless, eventually you'd come out the other side, shoot up, and start falling again....
Unless the theory is correct and gravity equalized in the middle and crushed you

I'd get bored fast :PLmao. And terminal velocity is 126 MPH for people who don't have a clue what 9.8 m/s is

Well I am going to defend my previous statement by saying I thought gravity was a lot higher in this hell hole then on earth. Btw bruenor, where would you get a rock?

I knew it was 120 something. Thought it was 121 but didnt wanna say and be wrong. And didn't feel like googling it lol.🔰ℬཞüęℵǿཞ🔰 wrote:

I'm in a bottomless pit of shitty threads! What do I do? Make the best of it😒

My pockets always have a
knife, 100 or so feet of 30lb test kite string, and a rock.Never know when your gonna have to tie the rock to the string and Hit somebody

9.8m/s is the speed of gravity. But since you're falling it's -9.8m/s. To find his speed there is an equation but I forget itᏩཞ།ཀཀ wrote:

And don't forget wind resistance which could be different in that holeYou'd also have to factor in the drag.

But, where would this bottomless pit be? What shape would it be? Would it be like a doughnut with gravity pulling the same way, so more endless spinning, or would it be created ahead of you, and destroyed behind you? Will it survive the end of time? Seaing as it would have to be every where but nowhere?
Personally thinking about the pit would keep me interested for a while, and then playing in 0 gravity would be cool. Can you bring a large rock or some other object whith you?

the fastest u can fall is when all the potential energy is turned into kinetic energyᏩཞ།ཀཀ wrote:

mgh=1/2mv^2
so v = sqrt(2gh)
where h is the height u are falling from and g is the acceleration of gravity
a bottomless pit can be created by drilling a hole through the center of the earth, in which case ud fall up and down in the hole -
But it still has a botem, you just never reach it, and you would eventually get stuck in the center of the earth because of drag
