I have noticed that a lot if people on here are from 12-15, and that generation doesn't read a lot. Post some books you recommend here. Include the genre, the title, the author, and a short description of the story. Here's mine:
Book: Rendezvous with Rama
Author: Arthur C. Clarke
Genre: Sci-fi
Summary: A giant object has been discovered heading towards the Sun. About 50km long, and 20km wide, it is a giant metal cylinder that is obviously of alien origin. This is a book about exploration, and has you on the edge of your seat the whole way through.
WARNING: There is almost no character development in this book. This is ALL about the giant object called "Rama". The character development comes in the next three books, also amazing. When I was sick one day, I read it the entire day and could NOT put it down. Extremely highly recommended. -
Hopefukky this will inform people of awesome books, and spark/rekindle an interest in reading.

Genre: Science Fiction
Summary: A young boy named Will and his dad find an underground colony full of cruel creatures called Styx. Will goes down to the colony to find his dad who disappeared. There are four more awesome books in the series. -
