Oh you're welcome saelo! Its nice to see people who share my affinity for reading. I try not to discriminate between genres, kids and teens books, and adults books, etc., so you may find that I have read a wide variety of material. I always considered it to be more of a fantasy/fiction book than sci-fi, only because it takes place in modern times and involves magic. However, it's nice to see someone else's interpretation of it. All in all, a great book, great series, and I highly recommend them to lovers of action, magic, folklore/fairytales, and suspense. I sit awaiting the last book.....Book: The Alchemyst

Book: Citizen of the Galaxy
Author: Robert A Heinlein
Genre: Sci-Fi
Summary: the book starts at the sale of a slave boy on a distant planet in the distant future. The boy is bought by a beggar who brings him up as his son. But all is not as it seems. Follow the adventures as the boy grows to a man and finds his true family. -
For the older, or more advanced reader.
Title: Stranger in a Strange Land
Author: Robert A Heinlein
Genre: Sci-Fi
Summary: Man is returning to Mars approx. 18 years after a first failed mission. Upon arriving on Mars they find that the planet is inhabited by a native species. Further this race has reared the child of 2 of the 1st missions astronauts. The child is therefore human, however has been brought up with a Martian way of thinking. The young man returns to Earth with the astronauts to learn of his origins and act as an ambassador for Mars. It explores what is acceptable in society, and is it really? Are our morals true? How do we react when questioned on our beliefs.I think Belial would have loved this, maybe a little to confrontational for the religious. This book won the Nebula award when it came out ranking it as the best Sci-Fi book of the year. First editions of this book are highly sought after by collectors and cost in excess of $2k

I'm a big fan of James Rollins' sigma force series. Good guys vs bad guys. Us special ops agency against the world with very detailed plots and leaning easily on scientific research. And Unlike many series the main characters evolve throughout the series. I highly recommend it. The first book is Sandstorm.

Adventurers wanted series by Brandon Mull is what I'm currently reading. Its a good read with a lot of adventure(duh) and action, it reminds me of LoTR but young adult.

Missing Series by Margaret Peterson Haddix
Hunger Games
Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Charlie Bone Series
Percy Jackson series
TentaclesI've read all these in the past two years and is just under 30 books

This one is the most realistic book I've ever read, and reads like a Hollywood movie. It's about the war on terror in the future, and it going nuclear.P.S. Ender's Game is by Orson Scott Card.
