I saw Tentacles by Roland Smith somewhere on this thread. That's another great book, I highly recommend it (saelo perhaps? Hm? Hm? 😉)

The whole Ender series is awesome. There are four books in the original series, then there's the Shadow series, whis is mostly events happening at the same time from other people's perspective.
The amazing part about it is that Card published Ender's Game in 1985, and he's still writing the Shadow series.

The Amulet of Samarkland
The Golems EyeThey are part of a series I've read them all but i cant recall the last ones name. Very good books and interesting. Basically they are about a boy who becomes an apprentice to a magician in London and he learns how to summon demons and other things.(most I can say without spoiling sonething)
