Well, I hate to break this news to you but when it comes to certain federal jobs/contracts, race does come into play. I personally witnessed it while on a job. Had to let a person go because management wasn't diverse enough even though the candidate taking the position had no clue to what the job he was taking. They then contracted the person they let go for one year to train the guy.It's not really racism.. And there IS an option to "not disclose" that information.
The reason they do that is for statistical data. Not discriminating. They don't take into any action based on race after asking that, do they? No. Of course there are conspiracies surrounding it, but still.

It happens all the time when it comes to building contracts. My father & Uncle own a construction company & in order to get a chance at getting any of the federal contracts, they had to bring in a minority partner.

Luciferian is a form of dark Wiccan that involves a lot of chaos magic in a quest for enlightenment. Really don't see what that has to do with the government

You might not have agreed with Rick Santorum on every single issue, but you will never find a candidate that you fully agree on every issue with. But you have to commend him for putting his family first.

I liked Ron Paul. I can't stand Obama, I would never vote for him. I think the birthers need to find an actual legitimate argument instead of "get dat Kenyan boy outta here! And bring me dem white sheets for my meeting!" But they are entertaining as stupid as their comments may be. As far as santorum goes I wasn't impressed with him during the debates at all or that other guy. Lol. But maybe I'm biased for Ron Paul. 😁

Haha was kidding about that it's funny to see everyone be rolling their eyes. Though I do belive he is a socialist, and a fraud. Though what is sad that Romney will win the primaries, and these two morons will be left debate. Obama wins, and more anti-rights bills try to pass, remember sopa. Created by the same people that made lime wire.

I figured once Obama got the intelligence briefings and wasnt on the outside looking in he would have changed his views on certain issues. And he did. But I still don't care for him as a president.

@Amish
1. Santorum actually stated that it was NOT like beastiality or child molestation. His exact words were, " It's not, you know, man on child, man on dog."
2. I think that his point is that if the supreme court decides what is and what is not legal consensual homosexual sex, then why wouldn't any of the other examples of sex be allowed? How could the supreme court allow one type of non-traditional relationship and not the others?
3. Allowing non traditional marriages to be legally recognized does create a societal impact on traditional marriage. Creating a social acceptability to plural, gay, anonymous relationships allows people the lack of respect for traditional marriage and makes it "okay" to have premarital, anonymous, and multiple partnered sex.
-
IMO, Santorum does not "hate" or disregard homosexuals. He does not agree with the practice or support it, but that is his individual right to do so. Just because he does not welcome it in his lifestyle does not make him a bigot, hater, or homophobe. It makes him steadfast in his religious beliefs and moral beliefs.

My personal opinion is that the government should have no role in marriage whatsoever. Marriage recognition by the government lies mainly in how it collects taxes from the people. Today, married couples get a reward for filing joint returns. The reason for this is to support traditional marriages to raise children with both parents in the home and to discourage divorce. Obviously this social experiment has failed. Since the government involved itself into the marriage arena, the divorce rate has increased to over 50%. Marriage is a religious institution. Not a governmental one. To have the government decide how society recognizes marriage is dangerous. The government should change the tax rates to be equal for married and non married couples.
-
There should be lawful recognition of all personal relationships. Gay, straight, plural, etc. I do not understand how two (or more) people in love should be penalized. The playing field should be equal, but at the same time, people who do not share the belief that gay or plural marriage is right should not be condemned as hateful. To be married, a couple should be recognized by a church. There are churches that support gay marriage and there are churches that do not. The government can recognize civil unions to give the same opportunity to all individuals, but to deem marriage a government institution is outside it's scope of duties.
-
@Vinnie
1.Reread his comment and actually whole interview. The "it" in "it's not' doesn't refer to homosexuality. It refers to the definition of marriage. Follow it through.. So yes he was comparing homosexuality to beastiality..
2. He wants to impose his opinion of what is traditional based on his religious beliefs.. Eeerrrr survey says Wrong.
3. Come talk to me when homosexual marriage effects yours.
Yeah straight people have so much respect for traditional marriage*cough* kardashian, Spears, Rodman, Mario Lopez, Nicolas Cage *cough*

People with such radical homophobic values shouldn't be in any position where they can make decisions or influence laws in any way.
-
Amish, Here is his exact quote.
"In every society, the definition of marriage has not ever to my knowledge included homosexuality. That’s not to pick on homosexuality. It’s not, you know, man on child, man on dog, or whatever the case may be. It is one thing. And when you destroy that you have a dramatic impact on the quality."
It's clear that he states, "It's not, you know, man on child, man on dog, or whatever..."
Marriage is traditionally religious.. So, to use the phrase that you coined, survey says, right...
There is a clear impact on society's recognition of marriage. As a whole, not individually.
I'm happy to discuss this topic rationally and informatively. I do not understand any point to your last statement. How is Santorum responsible for anyone that you listed? I never stated that and never eluded that straight people had more or less respect for traditional marriage.

Why does gay marriage bother people much?
"if your not gay then don't get gay married"
