I presume the invites have to be accepted before the expiry deadline right ?? So no point inviting someone with 4 hours to go unless u r lucky .

I'm pretty sure I'm missing a bunch because of the random release of the codes but not about to enter them again to find out.
And Thug, it's "Expiration Date" not Expiry Date. 👍 Just giving ya a heads up.

Hey everyone, the temp code format for players registering as of now has been changed to an all-number format (i.e. -123-456) to make it easier to type. The older-format codes will remain in circulation until they expire. Thanks for the feedback on that.
Regarding the randomization of the temp codes, this was done to more efficiently spread the invite code exposure among newer players, as we'd rather not directly reveal proprietary statistics such as daily registrations.

Everyone gets access to the same codes, so even if they're not all displayed no player will get an advantage over another.

this seems to make it too mich dependant on luck. Some codes have been released just before expiration. It's too much dependant on being at the right place at the right time. Also the only way to catch up is either to do all hundreds of codes at once or change the format and get completely lost with no hope of finding your way👿Belial wrote: but this makes it impossible to keep up with Nick! We never got them all before.

In a game completely dependant on mob you can't have things become randomized. It's going to make it a game of Roulette to gain mob members now. It's no longer about skill or work at this point just being at the right place at the right time

Ok...I now understand the randomization and your concerns. But may I make a suggestion that will hopefully get rid of the concerns that Belial and I have regarding "being in the right place at the right time". Perhaps you can limit the new codes that are grabbed to ones that have at least 3 or 4 days left. That way, a website is not potentially receiving codes that are less than 24 hours before they expire...and only those that players that happened to catch those codes at the right time would be getting to invite those players.Regarding the randomization of the temp codes, this was done to more efficiently spread the invite code exposure among newer players, as we'd rather not directly reveal proprietary statistics such as daily registrations.

The code sites are allowed to build their own code databases from the random data, so it's not a "right place at the right time" scenario.
There are plenty of ways for the code sites to handle these codes, and users will migrate to those sites that do it best.

they can only work with what you give them Nick. If you're giving them codes expiring in an hour there lies the problemThe code sites are allowed to build their own code databases from the random data, so it's not a "right place at the right time" scenario.

Perhaps you explain to the rest of the masses then how theses websites are currently getting codes from you and what we can potentially see out of a good website. Knowing the potential of a website in regards to the access of these new codes will allow us to better judge which ones are doing a good job or not.

Nick you really need to talk to us a little more about this system. Roughly how many codes do you plan to release per day? Things like that. Alot of big players are scared that they just became obsolete and that they can't compete in the new system. Nick we all need some input from you.

How do you figure that? Those of us with big mobs now can still keep ahead of newer players as long as we keep up with adding the codes that everyone else will also have access to. The only thing that's changed is that we have a chance to put in a lot more players we can invite that we might not have had a chance at before.Nick you really need to talk to us a little more about this system. The only issue i see is that if all codes aren't available for the same initial time period then players that have a lot more free time to sit at the site for every refresh will be able to input more codes. But if the time periods weren't random then everyone could just be adding the same codes as everyone else and everyones number would go up the same.

the problem is too many codes are being released. How many can keep up with typing in 700+ codes a day. It's asking a bit much.👿Belial wrote:

No one ever said it was supposed to be easy for everyone. It will benefit those that can put in the effort and time. No not everyone will be able to keep up and i don't think it is meant for everyone to be able to. Have to put in the time to be the biggest. It's a system that will reward those that can grind it out.

it's still too much tho. 700+ is barely possible. Most players won't be able to survive. I don't know how I am during the week even. The curve shouldn't be quite this hard. Holy crap belial stop complaining man...your the only top mobster making such a big fuss. If you dont like it and are afraid falling behind leave the game. It takes hard work to stay on the top. And no i dont have an issue with you personally

Of course it's not supposed to be easy but at the same time the game is code punching only now. Who has even had time to play? I haven't.

This just started. Who knows how many codes will really be released each day give it a chance to see how it actually will be before complaining about how you can't keep up. Once you get all the codes input that have come out perhaps it wont be that hard. To keep up daily you have to give it a shot at least.Besides if you cant keep up there is always henchman right? ;)

This game is only about code punching to those who make it about code punching. While you need to do a little code punching to challenge the bigger players, a 5k mob isn't necessary to play the game.
Honestly, if you're only playing the game to have the biggest mob then you're not having fun. There's a line between working a little harder to be at the top and obsessing over it. Let's not get all King of Kong about code punching.

Its gonna be fine.......
Think about it. If mobcode implements this, and you go on once a day you will catch all the new players no problem. I dot think nick is gonna push codes out that expire in less than 24 hrs. So just wait for a site to implement the code tracking part and we are golden.
Thank you nick for changing the format your a life saver.
This is gonna be a great way to keep up mob numbers. It just needs to settle in to our routine.
Nick is right, the fact of the matter is that this game depends on the relationships you form with other players around you not the size of your mob. While I do personally understand Belail's concerns, myself being one of the crazy ones trying to get on the top mob list. I also know this will probably, most likely, help to get there assuming I stay on top of the new codes which is now gonna be even eaiser than ever.
Thanx nick!!!👍👍👍👍
