New Feature - New Player Invite Codes
Forums › General Discussion › New Feature - New Player Invite Codes-
As Nick said, if you are going to obsess over getting every code, you're going to deprive yourself of a good time.
No one is gaining an advantage here, and no one one is being disadvantaged.
The "right place at the right time" argument is completely unfounded.
Player A might get codes that player B, C and D won't get, but Player's B, C and D are going to get codes that player A won't get. No one is going to get all the codes.
The law of averages is going to take over real quick, and in the end it's all going to balance out.
-
You also need to understand that these are just temp codes that go away after a week.
So the Invite forum will be just as vital as it ever was. Map posting will remain just as critical, and the hune will always be there.
I worked my ass off to get to 5 k mob. Doing a 4k race and then a 5k race going from 3k to 5k in just 4 weeks.
I've punched 3 new temp codes so far and I am not the least bit worried about my position on the mob board. I'm not changing my routine for the new codes. I'll just punch them as they appear on my one and only preferred code site. IF they appear, as they haven't yet.
If anything, I think this system will encourage people to promote their permanent codes.
-
Think about it-the noobs are going to get a taste with this new "instant mob", then it's going to come to a screeching halt and they will be forced to promote their code to keep it going. I almost quit this game at the start because I couldn't and didn't know to obtain mob. This changes that, and I believe oit will lead to a higher retention rate of new players, which means increased competition..
And isn't that what it's all about?
-
Having entered over 600 in the last 2 days n mob gone up by about 150, think I'll just continue with invitematrix as much less frustrating format on the codes (and u know which I've punched)
-
Having to keep flipping from char to numeric n back and forth is a pain. I'd prefer if you could make the codes longer but keep them all either numeric or alpha. Cheers

I can't believe the whinging . The reason some people have big mobs now is because they spent ages punching codes. No newbie is getting a golden ticket they have to punch codes too . Everyone still has to put in exactly the same amount of time to get their mob whether they did it in ye olde dayes or now so stop moaning. Yeah you know who I'm talkig about .....,,,,

Starting to wonder why I play this game, it's all just about punching codes, and this just highlights it even more - how boring.
About time battles were not just simply about mob numbers.

This is a terrible update to the game

ok it does not do that, first of all do u know how long it took me to figure out this whole game? Making mobbing too easy and further strengening the spreadsheet.

Might be a little late to this one but here is my problem. I am not a die hard player. I check turf wars maybe 2 to 3 times a day or when I get bored. It use to be if you didn't spend money you will be over run by those that do. Than it became if you don't use a code site to build mob you will be over run. Now it's if you don't use a code site daily you're done. How does giving new people a couple hundred mob members really help them when there are people adding a couple hundred daily. It just puts people more out of reach and makes me want to continue even less

And ive not posted ma code in the forums since I had about 1k mob...

I already thought the fact the winning is basically only a simple matter of punching more codes from a site that collects them for you was already pretty silly, now it's dumbed down even more to the point of stupid.
Basically a monkey could now play this game, and due to having more free time - whoop all ur asses
-
Ok I've taken a good 12 hours to think of all this. Nick you're right. Getting obsessed with codes is not the answer. I haven't even really played in about a month. Which is probably why I've gotten the way I have. Today will be different. It's not about the top moblist it's about having fun. Time to have some fun with the players in socal👿

I punched in all the new codes last night. Took about 6 hours maybe longer. Got to bottom of list and the codes have now been made easier 😄 But this morning i was curious and went ob mobcode.org and punched in the active codes. And every single code worked. Not 1 repeat. Is the new system missing something? I assumed that the codes on the mobcode.org would of already been punched in via the temp codes.
I think nick said these temp ones are in addition to the actual code so u get double bubble! I think this should have been limited to players with low mob numbers so that us dieharders don't see the benefit. We basically now have to do twice as much, I am not sure I can be bothered!!

Does anyone know how to transfer a iPod account to a new iPod with turf wars?

How do you figure twice?
Stay on top of the temp codes and you don't need to do anything else.
Or forgo the temp codes and huunt doen the permanent codes as they get posted.

Anyway doesn't change the way fights are just down to mob number and I wish there was more to it than that. And now all methods of doing that are pretty redundant, is just now who can be arsed to punch the huge list everyday.

Actually...the way I understand it now, even if you got all the temp codes that were released, you wouldn't be getting all the new players since the codes being released are random to hide how many actual new players there are. There's no telling really how many new accounts are being created compared to how many temp codes are being released. How do you figure twice?

nothing personal Nick. But I have to agree. Invitecodematrix is better run and un-bias. How can you support someone who on their website says to remove certian mobsters? I would have noAnd Nick how dare you side with an exploiter like thuglife! Who has sought to single handedly ruin the game. This is wrong. I for one refuse to paricipate with anything sponsored by the worst codesite ever
issues however if the sites you support are run by un-bias players. -

Exactly...I've been keeping up with the temp codes thus far this weekend (minus a few here and there) and am still finding quite few new regular codes.
