He spelled their wrong. Am I the only one to see the flaw? I thought his homeschooling was better..You also spelled it wrong, so much for your public schooling.

Bravo! Can we close the case?Ok. Time for my final thoughts. While I don't agree with many of the reasons that homeschooling is done there are many situations where it can actually be preferable. And no matter how much I'd like it to stop because of its abuse in augmenting certain beliefs we can't give the state total power over us and our children.

I disagree with all that. Going through public schools I didn't have any extra access to drugs and alcoholYes.
Probably. That's not all bad.
Not really. It just shelters us from stuff that happens in school like drugs and alcohol.

I went both to public and private school. I got to say, private school was much better. I used a curriculum called Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) and it was cry effective.
The academic system is individualized which means you learn on your own pace. You graduate at your own rate. This helped me in college.
I graduated as valedictorian in high school, helped me get a 34 in my ACT, and I managed to get magma cum laude in college.
Now for the social awkwardness, I guess that's for some but I see that in public school as well. In the ACE curriculum, we had regional and international conventions.
The people who uses that curriculum compete against each other in music, sports, drama, arts, photography, etc. and helps meet other people.
Overall I would choose the private school system. I'd want to have control what my kids learn.
