That said. I Would in no way send a child to the local high school I came out of. It's gotten bad since I left. Even had a paper go to all the local hikes stating that near 1/3 of the kids were infected with HIV

She is involved in skating and dance classes and gets social interaction through these activities.
She is more advanced than a ps child , and is free of the political indoctrination rampant on public school -

I teach my child to respect the views of all people.
It is a draconian idea that the government can do a better job educating my child. -

Al gore has absolutely no power in the schooling system. Our children are taught a diversity of beliefs and answers. Btw I was at college reading level by kindergarten. All in public schools

You're probably thinking that church is not a place to learn social skills. You have not been to my church.
Other than that, yes, I'm socially deprived. -
YouTube "Debbie squires" and play the first video. This is the attitude I can't stand.

I am still in school and I go to a public school. I think public schools are better, but that is just an opinion. These are all just opinions. None of it really matteres but what does matter is our choice everyone has their own choice, their own opinion and their own thoughts on weather to be homeschooled or go to a public school. Everyone has a different opinion.

Then you are obviously centered around the things taught to you in public education. The textbooks and lessons are very biased. Only one view is taught most if not all the time in our public schools. It can be like a political Indoctrination to different areas in the US. Reasons why the south is more conservative and the north more liberal. What the students are being taught has an effect on a region, especially if their being given one view or biased explanation of other views.

It can come both ways. You can not just pin it on the parents. Public education today resembles a factory producing "products". Although home schooling can be just as biased, I agree. If it depletes social skills, that's up to debate. Alot of kids in public school can be socially awkward too. Not all kids experience the joy of public education friendships, but rough it out.

Although public schools in Americaare sketchy, the home schooling is worse. The chance that you will find a family that makes highly educated kids with no biased opinions docterining the teaching is rare. Public is the best of the worst

I don't believe in trusted the government or giving them control but home schools are causing problems. Mainly racist homophobic children. Public school is an easy answer to this. This way children can make friends among a diversity of people

I am for homeschooling. There is nothing anywhere written that the only way for a kid to become socially acclimated is to sit in a classroom with a bunch of snot nosed kids. The school system tries to get way too involved in your home and often teacher push their own views on your impressionable kid. There are many different ways to get social interaction. If homeschooling is done correctly, your child can benefit from it. It usually takes a couple of hours worth of work each day to get through the cirriculum. The same amount of work that the schools do in a 7 hr day. What does that say about the schools. Also, if you have a special needs child, in most cities, you can have special education services come directly into your home or you can take your child to the school for those services. My children go to public schools, but I homeschooled my son during his 2nd grade year due to bullies

I disagree. Private schools should be shut down too and everything should be public. Although I would not home school my kid because it probably doesn't look great on a college app.

Parents should have every right to homeschool their children. If it becomes illegal, that's a violation of our rights as a US citizen. Most Public schools are a joke. Now granted, there are some good ones out there. There are many online programs for a homeschooled kid to do once they reach higher education. Also, there are numerous amounts of textbooks out there that are far superior to what the government supplies our school with. Many homeschoolers are smarter than public schoolers. Based on their education. People also say that homeschooled kids are socially unstable. Granted that there are "those kids", you're gonna find them everywhere not just in homeschooling families. They're are kids just like that in public schools that are bullied because of that. I myself am a freshman and I take algebra, Henly Latin, physical science, American Government, Debate/Individual events, Philosophy, and composition. I bet not many public schools are gonna offer those subject eh?
-
Also, for me, homeschool teaches the art of self educating. I basically teach myself the ciriculum. Overall, you're gonna have your homeschoing families who basically slack off and don't do my work. so how is that any different than the kids who have no motivation in high school? There are also many families out there who work hard at schooling their kids and it turns out great. So overal, homeschooling is different for many parents

Soda👆I don't want to burst your bubble or anything but my high school offers all those classes that you mentioned
