This was my response to the post above.
God didn't create sons and daughters. He created man in his image and gave man the choice to become a son/daughter. You have to know that God's plan to spend eternity with us began with mans creation and ends with man choosing to accept his son, Jesus.

Olsen, God is omniscient. That being the case, he knows all things from beginning to end. The only way he could send His son to earth to die for our sins was to create mankind. You see, God had a plan from the beginning that would result in Jesus being born (and eventaully killed) so that through His sacrifice, those who believe would spend eternity in heaven. Mankind represents carnality and by definition, is enmity against God. When The bible speaks of the sons and daughters of God, it is referring to spiritual sons and daughters and not those who were created. Salvation is a choice.

I think I'm just gonna chill with my beliefs ATM. If my time comes and I come before god and he tells me I have it all wrong, I will get down on my knees and say sorry. A true and loving god would forgive me.
