Well said!! 👏👏👏But the fact is, it is a life. It may not be fully developed, but it is a life. Ok, say you lived on a beach. It is mating season and there are turtle eggs everywhere. And then some teenagers come along and start smashing the eggs. What do you do? Do you call an animal rights hotline, or, since the eggs technically are not fully matured into a life, ignore them? And honestly, if you would ignore them, then you'd have a lot of people out for your head. So tell me then, how is a human life worth so much less than an animal? Is this because apparently we have come from apes, and all of the precise functions of the human body happene by chance? Evolution simply does not make sense to me, and neither does abortion. If you can't keep it, put it up for adoption!

If they have money issues they should just give it up for adoptionI think for one rape speaks for itself, and the mother has the choice of what to do, there are documented cases of "rape" mothers loving the baby unconditionally...
Secondly, church and state are seperate in the us, so a person can choo choo choose their own fate...Lastly, for most of the people here. Its on the anniversary of the abortion procedure that hurts the mum most, and also the predicted dob that holds the burden an that wont be forgotten quickly... Im not pro- or con- because im male

While I believe abortion should not be made illegal, it is the personal choice of a woman, and "technically" it is sometimes considered unnecessary unless there is a medical complication. So I don't believe taxpayers should have to pay for a personal choice. They have enough to worry about.

I think ShadowAngel is thinking from a theoretical point of view. Meaning that if you were somehow conscious that your mother had aborted you, would you be upset. I know that I would feel kinda betrayed that my own mother didn't want me.ՏhadowA͜ngelƊ. wrote:
I would've been perfectly fine with never having existed. As a matter of fact I wouldn't have known the differenceSo Belial and all you others, does that mean that if your mom ha aborted you, then you would have been perfectly dine with it? If humans desperately cling to their own state of life, then let's put it in your perspective. Surely you have had fun in you life, as well as sorrow. I don't see you guys attempting suicide, so you obviously like the fun times, along with the bad. So if you could never experience joy, or sorrow, how would you like it?

Beliel, you make having a child sound like a bad thing.
Children I believe are thee most blessed thing you can have. You think having a child is like God damning you (I know your atheist btw)? That is as big a lie as it gets. You considerate a damning only if you are selfish, can't support one or you don't know right from left.

Since now the government is making employers pay for insurance for their workers that covers abortion their making it almost a law and that's not separation of church and state.

Birth Control isn't 100% certain that it'll work.
Hell, aren't condoms like 70% success rate? -

I personally think it is the ultimate blessing unless you unwantingly got it like rape. Though sometimes people still keep the child.
Anyways, it sounded like you think having children is a hellish fate. (I know your atheist but being cursed runs side by side with religion so the way to express it being cursed sounds religious)

I just believe that often times having children gets in the way of a meaningful life when one isn't ready

I think it's fine for a woman to terminate a pregnancy if she decides to.
But if there's anything I hate, it's the "it's my body" argument.
Technically, it's not her body we are talking about, now is it?
How would you guys feel if a woman secretly installed a cigar cutter in her vag, invited you over for sex, lopped off your willie, and said: "It's my body, I can do what I want!"?

Not being able to go to university ect. You won't be fully established and able to support a child. -

If MEN could get pregnant there would be drive through abortion.. Why do people need too get into others life.

@ Superryan, yes it is harmful but it is their fault. Plus sone don't want or have to go to college. I find 20 years old a good minimum for having a child (what is the legal age limit for having a child btw, I forget) since people tend to be mature enough at that age. If you can't control yourself once your a teenager to not have a baby it is both the father and the mother (assuming they are both teenagers and it isn't rape caused child) fault for not controlling themselves. Hormones and urges and instincts are an excuse until you get to the extreme things like that then it is 100% your fault for not taking control of yourself.
