Thing is an intelligent open minded person sees all the evidence aroun him and adapts his beliefs. He doesn't try to disprove the observations because he "knows" his beliefs are correct. This is the difference between science and religion

So the first one I honestly have no idea if animals could talk back then, Some think the serpent was really Satan in the form of the snake, Since Jesus is God he did come down here with the intention I knowing he was going to die because he knew he wa going to die. Technically speaking God did write the bible because it is inspired by God. Jesus died because in the old testament people had to sacrifice a blameless animal to become forgiven of their sins. Jesus was a blameless and pure man who never sinned, and him dying on the cross was considered a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. Also it was to show his undying love for us. Also if jesus had never come down to die, we would still have to sacrifice animals to be forgiven of our sons.

The bible refers to a god walking down the road with a man and Abraham invited him in. Notice the key bit a god. That means there was more than 1.
I believe god was just a title for a lord or king or baron in ancient Aramaic times. Then again we could start the stargate debate.

It seems to me that the atheist here are more religious than the Christians are. Nevertheless will they consume their lives and thoughts and voices with continued denials of the existance of God or will they continue not saying anything and keeping their subjective moral values to themselves.

Why does this debate matter so much to people on both sides? I feel like its not so much evolution vs creationism vs intelligent design vs whatever you think, but instead it's a vehicle to debate whether or not God, in the Judeo-Christian sense, exists but without acknowledging that both sides are working from assumptions. You can argue one side or the other has the greater burden of proof, but both groups are arguing about secondary or even tertiary conclusions, so there is never going to be an agreement. Doesn't mean you should stop arguing, just think each side could admit there is something much larger behind each post.
