That's the fundamental difference. You believe homosexuality is a sin, whilst others believe it is just different - no more important than whether someone is left or right-handed - which also used to be regarded as a sin until people were a little more enlightened. -

This whole 'ok we can see evolution so we have to acknowledge it, but god stops it making big changes' attitude is rubbish.
All evolution is the tiny changes, the little steps up mt improbable.
This supposed 'macro' evolution is just a description of the effect of lots of little changes. -
To make a point. Lenski has run an experiment for years, following colonies of bacteria.
One set were found to suddenly be doing much better than they should be. It turned out that they had become able to feed not just on sugar, but citric acid, also found in their growth medium.
Sounds like a small change yes? No. In bacteria terms this was like gaining eyes or being able to fly. No single small change would allow the change in feeding, the chemotrophic mechanisms were too different. -
Due to the way the experiment was set up. They could 'go back in time' and search for the changes that had occured, including a Particularly needed pre adaptation. Which had popped up into the genetic mix many generations previously. This pre existing change along with others, all of which allowed the bacteria to function properly. Changed the bacteria massively.
An analogy to big animals would be like a lion becoming able to eat trees, or gaining a whole new set of limbs. -
