  Whoops, I slipped in a testosterone puddle. That said, I played judo for almost 15 years. Never had to use it on the street but had great fun on the mat. Now I just do a little tai chi.

  No, shooting an unarmed person is usually not considered self-defense. But on the bright side, that knife fighting would come in handy later on in Corcoran.

  Certain fighting styles are better for certain people. I'm a better shot than my son but he is awesome at hand to hand. He has been training in various martial arts since he was 5. I remember very clearly the day wen I could no longer touch him while sparing. He was 10. And very proud of himself when he found out I wasn't letting him win. He is just too fast for me. I can beat him endurance wise, but pure speed he is WAY beyond me.

  I know kendo. Mischief and a couple others said hand fighting is good and any weapons fighting is bad. This is where I differ. Yes I know sword fighting and knife fighting are martial arts. More practical in rl situations IMO

  I never said weapon arts are bad, ive taken tanto jutsu, escrima, and dai yoshin sword art as well.

  Then the argument is done. I've named most of my fighting knowledge. Kendo archery firearms knife fighting. French fencing. Mid evil sword fighting (particularly Spanish and Scottish styles)

  I was reading when I was younger but didn't understand any of it. But I have picked it back up and started reading it.

  I've read it. Nice read. I prefer a modern compound now myself as I just found it more fun. But each to their own. I'm proud of my compound bow. Anyone who wants to see it can join gz public on pal :)

  Cost me $1300. Was the second best bow made when I bought it. The best would've cost $100 more but this bow was more suited to my my style

  I've been thinking about getting it(5 rings)I find Bushido to be extremely fascinating. I use to have a compound, for some reason I just want to use older style bows. Japanese bows are really impressive looking, I'm not sure about the performance though.

  Performance will be damn good. But expect to pull back an extreme weight with most of them. Not the easiest thing to use. Compounds excel at being easiest to achieve accuracy

  No one said fighting is good and weapons is bad.and I don't know when were you started assume that we were just talking about the army mma can be used everywhere but carrying around a pistol everywhere you go is not practical.and what if you ran out of bullets and needed o reload but before you can reload some bimbo rushes you an disarms you then what will you do..? And in rl if you start flirting with some girl and her big bad boyfriend comes over and wants to fight what are you going to do...? Pull out a gun and shoot him on the spot... No and honestly I don't think youll have the balls to do so... That will land you serius jail time. Now if you use your fists to fight and you win I can respect that but using a weapon such as a knife a bat or a bow over a simple dispute shows that you don't have the courage to fight a fair fight thus you are a coward...

  I am being trained in taekwondo, karate, jujitsu, muai thai, Kung fu, pencak silat, chichouken, and a few others. Also im being trained in several weopons. As soon as I have mastered all or most of these, im going to take the strong points of each and put them together into a better martial art. This is actually completely true.
