My final thoughts are since the area is gray and no one really knows how to properly get rid of a account without informing support.
Then chain hunter should be restored.
And a new post should be put into the forms on how to get rid of your device.
This is the only way it is fair it is not his fault he couldn't find the proper information to sell his device reformatting should've been enough.
I want a password on the reset button Simple as that. Protecting my investment is all I ask for. -

I've been watching and following the whole thing quietly the whole time before making my first comment an hour ago. I can follow the timeline.
At first he was flustered that he had been reset and panic threads followed. Then he realised certain aspects that lead to the event.
It's not hard is it.
Ever lost your wallet or car keys? Panic followed by irrational moves. Then you try and piece it all together logically while trying to locate the lost item.
Give the guy a break ffs. -

His story has changed many times. At first he had no idea how it happened. He stated he got on TW and he had been reset & his name was changed. Then he said he was hacked. Then he said his friend reset him on accident, but then later said his friend didn't do it because zUntamed was a "gay" name. He said his friend didnt like this game so his friend couldnt have done it. Then he said he was hacked again, and now where to the "restored iPod" story.
He wasn't hacked because nick said he wasn't. Someone reset him, someone chose that name. It didn't choose itself.

I'm pretty sure the FAQ thread & the wiki even state to contact support to have an account removed from a device. His friend NEEDED it after 4 days? Wanted maybe, I fail to see how he could need it.

Ottawa, if my account was reset I would message support asking why, not start 3 different threads with the titles laced in profanity and accusations. I would get the facts before going completely ape shit.
I'm with the others that call bullshit on this. I'm interested to see how this all plays out. Good luck getting your account restored, looks like you're going to need it.

I recall moving from one device to another.
I messaged support within 48 hours, they responded asking for the uidid. I provided this then 48 hours later the device was no longer accossiated.
I tested it and this was the case.
This information was on the help forum & the wiki.
I'm not looking to blame anyone, chained hunter it's between you, your mate and support. And I feel for you.
All I can say is that it worked for me, but it did require patience. -

So what's the point in not letting us log out of our accounts nick? Other games that rely on uuids have that feature and it's probably because of this situation. It's something's that's easy enough to code up and should take 5-10 minutes to do. Why not get working on this and get us an update this week. You owe it to the players that have paid you good money for this game
