Alternative energy

Why is everyone focusing on the atmosphere and carbon taxes? Even I agree that carbon taxes are bullshit, and are clearly unconstitutional for Americans. But that doesn't change the fact that climate change is a natural cycle. The fact is there actually is a giant hole in the ozone layer above, and the size of, Antarctica. That hole isn't protecting us from cosmic radiation energy, and light energy. These energies change the climate of our planet.
Just because Al Gore is a moron and another tax pusher, that doesn't change the fact that there is a giant hole in the ozone. Al Gore isn't even really relevant.

Nuclear is clean and renuable. It's the only form of power that can generate enough to support us. Nuclear has a bad rap but it's our best option⌖🔥Belial🔥⌖ wrote:
No it isn't. Can't tell if joking...Obviously alternative energy is necessary. Nuclear is the best option.

Practically speaking, any clue how many pounds of insects per day per person in your family you'd have to obtain to even come close to maintenance of your current weight? It's a huge volume! (have a friend that does edible plants/bugs and urban survival work) So aside from potentially icky it's like eating a five gallon bucket of roaches. Just you. And then you need carbs and other proteins to get your balance. And water. Eating roaches would become your new lifetime occupation. He once came up with a replacement for a small snicker's bar. It took him four hours to gather (no transportation allowed) and another couple hours to prepare and consume. Back to the stone age where sustainance was "what you did."Food shortages will be caused by eating to much from the top of the food chain, over consumption, and waste.
People could eat cockroaches but that thought is disgusting for most in "civilized" societies. -

Fearmonger. Granted, oil is a finite resource no matter where you get it. We have so much domestic oil locked up in protected areas, though, that it isn't funny. Now we do this for conservation and I see the point but in the end we might need to consider what we're conserving. Maybe. Also there's a lot of oil below the standard depth at which we used to stop drilling. So we're going there. Also finding new methods for exploring old fields, etc. Then there's the stuff in unprotected areas at all depths that anyone could drill...just...whenever...What we need though is enough to buy time until we can reorganize into a society that uses less of it and I agree there. Best of luck. You're wearing it, drinking out of it. Heck, you got counter tops? I thought so...There are some people that think that we should use our own oil but what they fail to realize is that our nation is so dependent on it that our oil wouldnt be enough.

But it is extremely abundant. In fact, the residual heat in our planet's core is due entirely to the large amount of natural uranium swirling about down there.
Nuclear energy does not have to be uranium based anyway.
NEWkyahler energy is awesome.

it is so impossibly numerous that it may a well be. Not to mention the fact that we can now reuse almost all waste products making it last a long time⌖🔥Belial🔥⌖ wrote:
