HOW TO: Arm your mob
Forums › Help & Strategy › HOW TO: Arm your mob-
For low levels
The first weapons you should be buying are the Galesis and Kevlar. Buy one of each for every member of your mob.
Once you have done that you may want to start buying grenades to be used as an attack weapon. Do not sell the Galesis! They will still be used for defense while grenades will be used for attack. -
For higher level players
Once you've gotten yourself established and feel ready for the "big boy" guns, get one of or a mixture of the following combos I've taken the liberty of naming.
Mini Combo: 1 minigun and 1 body armor for each member of your mob. This is the cheapest to buy and has the lowest upkeep, but is a defensive only combo.
-
Traditional: 1 RPG, 1 minigun, and 1 body armor per mob member. This was the mainstay of the big players for months. It has good att and def., with medium cost and upkeep.
Boom Combo: 1 RPG & 1 body armor per mob member. This is for those that want an attack only combo but don't want to pay the Tommygun upkeep.
Sniper Combo: 1 Lapua and 1 body armor per member. This is a good all around combo with great def, decent attack, and less upkeep than the traditional combo.
-
Gangsta Combo 1 Tommygun and 1 body armor per member. This is an attack only combo. It's expensive, has very little defense, & is not reccomended unless you have a huge mob.
Max Combo1 Lapua, 1 Tommygun, & 1 body armor per member. This is very expensive to buy and is very high on upkeep, but it provides the best attack and defense in the game.
-
Some good info in here. I always wanted to do one of these.
The Sniper combo is a great all around combo. Excellent attack and defense with the Lapua, and cheaper than the Traditional combo as far as upkeep is concerned.
This is my recommended combo if you can swing the upkeep.
-
Thanks belial. And I agree Charlie I have the sniper combo and it works pretty well. One thing I noticed is that belial forgot aks. I guess there just not worth it?
-
AKs are good if you can't afford the minis.
-
I started off with a k's and body armour, and have only recently started equipping my mob with laupas. It's taking a while to buy 4 thousand of them though!
-
I thought of an ak comb but ommited it to save space. Maybe I should add it in.
-
Lol, I thought you left it out because it wasn't worth doing. If you add it you'll have to make a new thread. People will never see it if they have to read this far down! 😜
-
Feel free to ask any weapons questions here. I'll also do free profile consultations to get you the settup best for you asking as time permits.

What about mini, armour and tommy. Is it worth having the mini for the extra def boost. I don't wana switch over to lapua just yet as upgrading to the tommys.
-
Nevermind I found this info on another site.
Each time your Mob members are only using 1 Weapon & 1 Armor, but they switch the Weapon depending on whether you are attacking or defending.

I thought you can only have one weapon and one armor per member??? Some of the combos are of two weapons and one armor per member. How is that?

Patsy killine combo: grenades amd body armor

I kind of like buying AKs and Kevlars. There's only a little upkeep and when you have a lot of cash flow you can buy a ton. Throw in a couple hundred grenades and Galesis, and a few Lapuas, and you've got an all around good attack/defense combo. I know it's probably not the best, but it works for me.

you use the Tommy when you attack and when you're attacked youll use the lapuaOn the max combo I can use 1 body armour and 1 tommy however it does not use the lupos because it has less attack than the tommy gun... Is this normal?

the miniguns yes if you want lapuas i'd work on selling those off. Keep the grenades unless you need the cash. Never know when you may need a good no upkeep weapon. Tommy is the best att weapon but expensive to keep so that ones up to youShould I sell my granades and miniguns if they're not being used to weapon upgrade to sniper combo??
Should I sell the few amts of tommy guns I have too, to upgrade??

Do NOT sell!! They are higher in Attack then body armor. What's the value of the Riot Shields that you get as loot. They automatically replace body armour but have less defence. I started selling them at first, but notice most of the big boys keep them.
When you are attacked the sys will use body armor as higher in Def. -

Okay, I guess I need to explain myself a little more. I like Kevlars simply because they have no upkeep and are inexpensive. I can buy a ton of those then. AKs have the lowest upkeep for an upkeep weapon and give good attack and defense. I'm still in favor of the occasional Body Armor, but for defense I just buy Miniguns (and for attack too). I only really get Tommy Guns and Lapuas when I loot them in the burglary mission. Hey, it works for me. And here my incredibly long forum post comes to a conclusion.I kind of like buying AKs and Kevlars. There's only a little upkeep and when you have a lot of cash flow you can buy a ton. Throw in a couple hundred grenades and Galesis, and a few Lapuas, and you've got an all around good attack/defense combo. I know it's probably not the best, but it works for me.

Only some weapons are lootable.
You mainly acquire weapons through buying in the Market.

You need to look at the people you are fighting. It all comes down to attack value vs defense value of your setups.
1000 defense is 1000 defense, whether it be 250 kevlar or 66 body armor. You can ignore the attack and defense skill points. They don't help. You need to look at your opponents profile to see how they are armed.
When you attack, the game will select the highest rated attack weapons you have first, and work it's way through your list up to the number of mob members you have.
The same goes for defense.
And this is why you will see top level mobsters with two sets of weapons. But when you get to those levels, Lapuas make a great all around weapon.

Yes, you should obviously keep all riot shields. It's not included in a combo though because they are loot so you can't buy them.I was thinking.. What about the riot shield ? Would that replace a body armor when i attack ? Since riot shield has +1 more
-
The AR can only be looted. It can not be purchased. If you have them, keep them.

Of course it's worth keeping. IMO you should keep all loot. This list is just on the mist common combos you would buy from the market. And as I've said they are all adjustable. These are just easy presets you can useWhat about the AR-15? I mean, the sniper only has 3 more defense while the AR has like 10 more attack? Is this not worth it in anyway? Especially considering the fact that the AR doesn't have any upkeep.
-
There are also no loot items included in the combos because you can't buy them! Obviously if a loot item (like riot shields or ARs) has better attack or defense than your other weapons, you should keep them. Think of them as a little bonus.
-
Why's the point of a .57 magnum if it cost the same as a grenade but has less attack and defense then the grenade?
-
Grenades aren't available until level 10.
