HOW TO: Arm your mob
Forums › Help & Strategy › HOW TO: Arm your mob-
I think there is an important part of arming your mob that isn't really brought up here. That would be "What NOT to buy". I've seen it time and time again. People are spending a boat load of money on weapons that don't do them any good and in many cases actually hurt them. Until you can afford the bigger guns, buy whatever you can afford to arm your ENTIRE mob. A guy with 1k mob buys 200 RPG's because it's all he can afford and he needs some attack. He's better off in all respects spending the same money on 1k AK's. There are way too many reasons and combinations to give a perfect answer here, but as a rule of thumb, just arm your whole mob, not just part of it. PM me if you have questions, I'll actually answer.

The gangster still has a slight lean towaard defense because of the armor.

I have 10 lapuau rifles ( or however you spell it) but they're not equipped? I'm level 20. Do I have to be a certain level?
-
Level 27, I believe.
-
You can have whatever you want. But only one weapon per mob member will be used.

So does the system auto equip based on weather you are being attacked or attacking? I have the gangster combo now if I get the lapua's will it help in defending me?Gangsta Combo 1 Tommygun and 1 body armor per member. This is an attack only combo. It's expensive, has very little defense, & is not reccomended unless you have a huge mob.
Max Combo1 Lapua, 1 Tommygun, & 1 body armor per member. This is very expensive to buy and is very high on upkeep, but it provides the best attack and defense in the game.

Yes, the game automatically picks your best weapons for attack & your best weapons for defense. That's why Belial created the max combo category, otherwise it would have been pointless.🔥GOD of WAR🔥 wrote:

The one thing I would add is not to buy guns & armor that require upkeep until you need them, otherwise you'll be spending money on upkeep for no reason.
The market tells you how much the upkeep is for everything. So using that & your turf list (which shows your income) you can figure out how much you'll be spending and how much money you'll have leftover.

I don't understand your exact question. If you mean how long until you can plant turf in populated areas & be able to defend yourself, then it depends on the area, the size of the people, & the individuals. Some like to help low level players, some like to cap them. Look at their avg mob size & run the numbers to see how much attack & defense you'll need. I'd suggest contacting them & start trying to get to know them. You can also look at their turf lists to see if they have a lot of capped turf or not. If they do, don't plant near them.Someone told me a similiar thing. For me as a lower level weapon wise I think I'm doing my best. I recenlt invested more money in my turfs? How long till I can be assured enough with being in populated areas, defending myself, or capturing turf? I suppose I'm more so looking for a different opinion on how I'm doing though I'm fairly new and low level..

What's better attack or defend when buying weapons

IMO it's best to focus on defense first. However, it really depends on how you play, what your goals are, what your mob size is, if you are referring to weapons & armor with or without upkeep, etc. What's better attack or defend when buying weapons

It can't be redone until the new loot is released. There will be stat changes, more loot, & a new system for how they work; all that will have to be figured out first. This will need to be reposted as Now there are three weapon classes.

Until I add it to the op shanks offer low level melee but once it can be afforded steel boots should be purchased

Punch all the codes you can, even if you can't afford to equip all of your mob right away. DO NOT "HOLD BACK" ON PUNCHING CODES! It is better to have unequipped mob, then weapons you can't use because you ran out of people to invite!
Remember, you can also use weapons that don't require upkeep!
-
Each mob member can use 1 "regular" weapon, 1 melee weapon, & 1 piece of armor. The game automatically uses your best weapons & armor first, depending on if you are attacking or defending.

How would define established as in the size of mod or the amount f turfs u control?

I can't speak for Belial, but IMO it's 1) once you can afford the upkeep and 2) you aren't being capped so often that you would be in & out of the negatives (due to upkeep & income loss). I probably wouldn't buy them either if I was so low on cash that it would affect me being able to easily plant at least 2 86 inf turfs. How would define established as in the size of mod or the amount f turfs u control?

So if I have 150 mob members I need 150 weapons and armor?

You aren't a high enough level to use them. Read the "Loot Explained" thread. Why do I have unequipped chainsaws in my inventory even though I have folks in my mob without melee weapons equipped?

You don't "give" guns to your mob. The best weapons (regular & melee) & armor for attack or defense are automatically used, assuming you are a high enough level. (You can loot weapons before you are able to use them.)

Has the OP been updated? I noticed its 1 year old & haven't seen an updated post for it? Thanks.

The setups listed work for any size mob (look at the mob of the op). However, you can customize them & do what works for you.
