I have read the "title" of the thread, which is why I don't understand your suggestion. You want to gamble mob to get more mob? If you lose, you lose mob, not gain them. Idk anyone that wants to risk losing mob.Mystery wrote:

Game is boring now unless you have 12k+ mobs. My time is too valuable to punch 25k codes when i could spend my short free time with a loved one. If its not fun why play? I think i may reset+ uninstall

The fundamental problem with code punching is that it must be done outside of the game. That is the issue. You MUST open a browser window outside of the app itself and basically are not playing the game while doing the punching.
I know a lot of friends who install new apps and delete them immediately as soon as they see that code punching is part of the game.

I agree punching is crap, but I disagree that you can't have fun with a smaller mob, I'm havin fun, fighting ppl of different sizes, it doesn't matter how much you punch theyll always be someone bigger. I agree, the mob and the way the mob is used is the biggest down fall of TW.. In my home town there is about 5-10 big players a new guy starts, try's to mob up but can't keep up with older players and they quit... But 75% or more of TW is punching codes,

Euro, arn' you the 1 who in a frenzy of ridiculous panic started deleting all your turf before the new rule change was implemented? And now that's done you're moaning about code punching? I'm not 1 to encourange resets but as mystery said... Just get it over n done! If u don't like punching then don't. Rea what B said, there are many strategies for smaller players, there are just as many disadvantages for being big mob. If you don't know how to play you shouldn't be so negative and put others off playing.
-
This is just the "grind" of the game. Every game has one.

Mobbing up shouldn't be fun, It should be be as boring and unfun as possible that way people don't do it. It should be rewarding for the people who devote their time to punching. Mob shows devotion. You want to have fun punch codes and grow your mob... Then the fun will come. My vote is jells to the naw. The current system is fine just the way it is.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way.No, it's not fun but that's how this game is designed. Sometimes I feel like I'm working for a strange company doing data entry. What is fun and enjoyable is watching your mob grow. This game to me feels personal and it's a game that takes patience. You have to put in the time and effort.

I agree that unless you have been punching since day 1 you stand no chance of getting big mob numbers, if there was say an auto acceptance of invite after 1 week at least you get your reward for punching the codes

That's not the issue. Everyone starts the game and punching codes at different times / speeds. 12 months down u may be my size n I may be 17k. I think it'll be cool if nick did something on having a big mob with out punching all those codes! Maybe if somebody sends you an invite code you just press it and you invited that person, that's a good idea it's simple at least

That won't give you a big mob. It's basically the same as sitting around waiting for invites. I been reading these posts with interest. I'm a new player and from my position it's not easy to establish yourself I'm not fan of this code punching to be honest I can't see why some kind of mission be used to gain gang members and yes I know there is one that does but I'm talking one that pays more often. After all it's no different then doing the other missions time and time again to level up.
-
Problem is, if building mob becomes easy, we'll all end up with super sized mobs. New players would still de disadvantaged.
The problem lies in the way the game utilises that mob, if there limiters on mob used in battles (5 times level for example), mobbing up would be less of an issue.
But, fighting would be a pain unless there is a bigger shift from the defensive slant, otherwise you'd lose too many fights when capturing turf.
I am all for helping the little guys, but it's a little more complicated than just mobbing up.

I've only been playing about a month but I read on forums when I started an saw all the stuff about punching. Put some time to it (a little each day) and you can see results pretty quick

5 times your level doesn't really work for a gps game. Everyone would have the exact same attack & defense as other people on their level (if they were fully equipped) so you couldn't do any capping without a V for people on or above your level. Since you could only use 5x your level, everyone would be fully equipped for that. You'd only be able to cap people at lower levels then you. Once a lot of people hit level 150, the game would be pretty lame. CrimeCity doesn't really translate here.Problem is...we'll all end up with super sized mobs. New players would still de disadvantaged.

Exactly, I've found that out in crime city, I rarely win fights because the attack/defence is screwed.
Fixing mob would also require a massive shift in the attack/defence balance.
As I said, more complicated than just mobbing up.

"I am all for helping the little guys, but it's a little more complicated than just mobbing up"
As a new player i maybe missing the point here, how i see it to grow i need to cap turfs but im not going to be able to do that in my next of the woods when there are players with mob sizes over the 1,000s so that means i need to mob up to them sizes but then there is another problem these mobs have the arsenal to match so that means i need the turfs to support the my mob but i cant get the turfs cause there are big players in the area catch 21 comes to mind.
Yet before you jump all over me for moaning and im not just my point of view, being new player i had to adept and get turfs by levelling up and going into free areas away from everyone else. Yet if i want to take part in the other part of Turf wars there is no escaping i have to Mob up and that means punch in codes
