I think it would be more than a few vets that quit. How would you like it if your boss told you that all the work you put in the past counted as nothing. That to be fair to the new people he was going to clean up your slate and remove all your acomplishments.man you talk like the world is gonna end if a few pissy 'vets' stop playing b/c the playing field was leveled lol do u hear yourself? 🎓❇

and your analogy is horribly disproportionate to the reality of the proposed change. 🎓❇

what if the longer a player has been gone the less weight they have towards attacks for players still playing? start the percentage decline at a month and zero is a year of no activity. problem there would be the crazy math needed. 🎓❇

This is all is coming from someone who would benefit more than most to a change in inactive accounts. As things stand now I'm never going to be on the top mob list. I've typed in enough codes that if this change happened I would definately have a fair chance if not be put on imediately. But that benefit is far outweighed by the fact that I would have lost hour upon hours of hard work.
-
Tell me omnius. What real gain do you even expect to get out of this? It wouldn't propel you to the top. I really don't see where Any of you guys have earned the right to complain yet. What effort have you even put into your mobs? The way things are right now now you can easily get to two thousand or even more.

lol u r funny. im only offering my opinion on what i see as fair. your attempt to draw correlation between being higher lvl and correct is noted as failure, thanks for playing. 🎓❇

you did receive benefit. but i would be willing to conceide some form of payback for losing a mob member to suspension but then how do you handle reactivation? 🎓❇

on the contrary, what ive suggested, inclusive of the above concession, is rather simple to understand by everyone and simple to adjust code for. and most importantly, fair. i rest my case, your honour 😋🎓❇

We are just going to have to agree to disagree on the fairness of this. It's nicks decision ultimately anyway. Even if you got your way I don't think I would quit. Actually I can concede that it may make things more interesting and open me to attacks which sadly enough has not happened in a really long time.

One last thing as I suggested I'm another post. This would create equality in the upper regions of the game. It would be safe to assume that most gigh level players pretty much have all currently active players in their mob. This could result in a massive stalemate among those near the top

Not choosing sides but Omnius does have a point Bel. Doesn't mater who is complaining about it. What matters is if the complaint is logical. And in this case it is. I've played many RPGs on PC and the part about someone playing longer than someone else means they should be better than u is not logical at all. The best players always put alot of hard work into a game but that doesn't mean that they will never be effected by changes to a game that will make it better, more competitive and draw more ppl yo play it. Just because ppl got a jump on inviting mob before others and alot of those never come back to accept new recruits, just doesn't make the game all that competitive. U got to have the competitve edge in a game.
-
I still think the game should auto accept mob codes. And if the attk/def points were to be changed to where they actually mean something, all stats are reset u r allowed to put them wherever u want. In an RPG game, that's called respecing. And u could also make the option to respec by using respect points and put it in a time frame or some kind of restriction to where it isn't abused.
-
True on the stale mate but that's why u ALSO do something useful with that damn attk/def stat.
-
And just like u said bel, even If something was to happen with all the innactive accounts, sure a couple of big guys would stop playing just b/c of that reason, but at the same time, what have they been doing uo there. Probably not a damn thing and bored as hell. Bring them a little closer to the competition and things get interesting again. Also, everyone will get hit the same except for the brand new guys. There is a wide range out there of different mob counts. Fromm 5 to 3000. I doubt everyone will end up with similar mob count if innactives were made innactive. And the attk/def stat with the choice of respecing that with certain amount of respect points limited by time would make things even more interesting. All those too mob guys are doing anyway is posting in forums, doing there missions and inviting more mob. Are they having any turf wars? Better yet, are they having any turf wars that are of any challenge or threat? Lvl the playing field and u get the competitiveness back in the game.

Shouldn't worry to much about so much hard work put into it. I have 600 leas than the top guy and I have put a good bit of work inviting ppl, but not the way u make it sound Bel. Sorry. The game has only been out a few months, not a cpl of yrs or longer. This game can be much more awsome than what it already is but it needs to go thru all these tests and sure some of these changes will effect "some" work done by ppl that have played longer. This wouldn't be the first game to ever do that. Especially an RPG.
-
All this must've taken some time to type up on an iPhone............
-
About 10 min. Probably longer than the time u have spent building your mob.....
-
Just a joke Bart. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Yup you are right this is the most ridiculous thing of the game.

(reposting thoughts from two topics because apparently they're in the wrong section and will therefore be ignored.)
A Mob should be A Mob, not just a number. Right now, it's just another rubbish stat that overwhelms the gameplay. There should be some sort of contact between mob members, without which you'd lose that member.
Click the 'ring' button, and if that player returns your call within a few hours, you keep them. Otherwise, if about a week goes without any calls, they go their own way.
Makes your mob less a number, and more about keeping your family together.

all mob games have this fundamental flaw. Vendetta was created in part to fix this the problem with your suggestion is that it could drastically reduce the strength of those of us who have put the time into copying and pasting as you call it. Is it really fair that I should lose that which has been bought by my blood sweat teers and sore fingers(reposting thoughts from two topics because apparently they're in the wrong section and will therefore be ignored.)

Out of your 2,500 mob members, how many have you PM'd?
I've chatted to about 4, maybe.
My mob should be 4.
That sounds more fair than having a copy+paste war. -
Ok jimmy lets crunch numbers. I have 2500 mob probably about 500 of which no longer play based on your system I could expect what? A return of maybe a quarter of that. So five hundred or less. I bet a newbie could get as much if they tried. Why should I be reduced in strength to that of a newbie. What reward could this game possibly have for me if my strength was so low?

Another flaw is you would be rewarding people based on popularity and not hard work. This is not high school
