Don't punish loyal players

So this is a 'location-based' game, what if this is factored into att/def? We are each the 'Don' of our own mobs, making us the most influential pawn...why not give a bonus to att/def when we are in proximity to what we're attacking or defending.
-
Go a step further & give a bonus for turf qty/distance to the point of attack...your 'mob' will be habitating turfs, so the more turfs near the point of attack the bigger the bonus. I'm kind of in the middle of something & don't have the time to fully articulate this idea...so I'll check back later.
-
I've suggested something similar to this my only worry is the complexity in it.
-
More weapon choice is a good one... But unless the weapons are awfully crazy like 50 atk but -75 def ... Things are not changing a lot... The worst link of turf wars is that ... It has no surprises ... U atk only when u are certain that u will win ... Furthermore ... It relies too heavily on mob no and as we have been discussing the gap is hard to bridge and it is getting worst ... So atk/def multiplyer is by far tge simpliest way to deal with these problem...

But if nick is changing the calculation :) he has to release more points package ... I hv purchased all and used all of them already ❕❕❕
-
Matt I love ur idea but I think we hv to be realistic as well ...
-
Makes sense that the mobs that have been around longest are biggest. Perfectly natural

i dont see how suspending stale accounts is a punishment. i do, however, see a huge and unfair advantage for the first players dominating simply because they got in early. if you want a 'kickback' you are crazy you already had the benefit of far more resources for longer vaulting you to the forefront and nobody is suggesting a recount for unfairly gotten cash, xp or pts. the organic reaction i predict is a few months of fun then a grinding halt to both the game and cashflow through itunes for the game. if you want a persistent system that system must be balanced. 🎓❇

Not sure how the player-to-player battles could work. But for turf battles, part of the info you could see when you click on a persons turf is how many mob members are defending there.

first of all not all of us who stand to lose in this have all that much resources. I have 7 million in hand right now and nothing in the bank. What we are really talking about in an inactive reset is stealing hours upon hours of peoples time and effort -
Next how is any of this unfair. You play a game longer than someone else and you're going to be stronger than they are. That's simply the way things work
-
It is not asking for a kickback. We put in the hours of work and deserve the fruits of our labors plain and simple

What's funny us besides widowmaker all the people complaining have super small mobs. They haven't even tried to climb up yet. You don't see people like me and bellaitaliana complaining about never being to catch up to the likes of Nixon, Tom Hagen, or thuglife. Why? Because alot of this game is tactics not mob number and if u can't see that then you are never going to be successfull

Hey Belial, just curious, when did you start playing TW? I know Bella has been on for quite some time. Since you're at level 80, you must have started back in what, mid-November? ...the point I'm trying to make is I started playing in early January (about ten weeks) & I'm less than 200 mob members behind both of you...just takes hard work & diligence. What's funny us besides widowmaker all the people complaining have super small mobs. So this is what I have been suggesting, simply change the equation of atk and def. It is simple, fair and realistic.
-
Belial I have started playing since 3 of march and I think you are right, how good you are in game is depends on how many time and money (lets be honest to each other.) you have spent on the game. What I have been suggesting is that; the game is facing a serious setback not because we cannot make our mob big enough in order to compete with the others. On the contrary, it makes no sense when winning or losing a battle is "purely" determined by mob numbers. Thats why some modification is a must. And at the other post I have proposed a few way in achieving that and by far the easiest and workable one is to amend the atk and def equation. (p.s. this is momo, I am posting this form my mac so I have to use my friend's ac to login for the icon things ^^)
-
And lets be blunt, if Nick is providing more point package I would buy all (as I have already did) in order to expand my numbers of mob; but still I believe things should be changed.
-
And I think another thing that worth Nick's attention is that, Belial you are right, many ppl with small mob is complaining the game and this is exactly why Nick should really rethinking about how he is running the game. The fun of a mob game is to fight, negotiate with the other players; but in turf wars most of the time is spent on invitations, (There are not enough low lv for the players to fight with the other and not to mention these low lv might already be encroached by the high lv players b4 they can fight them.) This is a serious setback that driving new players away.

bad suggestion tho. Already many of the best players are talking about quitting if they lose the bulk of their mobs. We have already lost three veterans this week it's not really that good for the game.Belial wrote:

so a tiny fraction of the playerbase who also happen to be whiners, quitters and cheaters (see : unfair advantage) disappear? good riddance. i bet a lot more (paying) players replace that sorry lot. 🎓❇

that is more than just a tiny disrespectful when a new player is in a jam who do they turn to? The veterans. When they don't understand part of the system and need help who answers their questions? The veterans. Just go to the help forum and see. Get rid of the veterans then all you have is a bunch of moons who don't know what thyre doing and will get nowhereso a tiny fraction of the playerbase who also happen to be whiners, quitters and cheaters (see : unfair advantage) disappear? good riddance. i bet a lot more (paying) players replace that sorry lot. 🎓❇

1 u make way too big a deal over a speculation 2 u r trying to imply that i advocate negativity towards vets which is fabrication based on speculation and 3 you have yet to provide a suggestion that is actually fair for everyone 🎓❇

Also you have only 400 mob which isn't even close to the inactive gap. I estimate the gap to be only about well less than a thousand which means if you put in the work you should be able to reach 2000 by the end of the nite. At least get to the inactive block before you complain about it

man you talk like the world is gonna end if a few pissy 'vets' stop playing b/c the playing field was leveled lol do u hear yourself? 🎓❇

lol how does me being new have anything to do with this discussion? i have more than enough of the equation to form an informed opinion. or am i supposed to be kissing your ass b/c ur account has more thingies attached to it? 🎓❇Also you have only 400 mob which isn't even close to the inactive gap.
